About the Role We are looking for an Optical Communication Product Engineer to provide technical support for fiber-optic communication products and related customer projects. The role focuses on understanding customer technical requirements, supporting product selection, reviewing product specifications, assisting with RFQs and quotations, and coordinating technical communication between customers, suppliers, sales teams, and project teams. This is a flexible and project-oriented cooperation opportunity suitable for professionals with experience in optical communication, fiber-optic products, telecom networks, or related technical fields. Responsibilities Understand customer requirements for fiber-optic communication products and network applications Support product selection and technical configuration for customer projects Review technical specifications, datasheets, and customer RFQ requirements Assist with selection of fiber optic cables, optical transceivers, patch cords, pigtails, connectors, adapters, ODFs, distribution boxes, splitters, WDM products, and related accessories Recommend suitable products based on transmission distance, bandwidth, wavelength, interface, fiber type, connector type, and network architecture Support technical clarification during RFQs, quotations, tenders, and project discussions Compare product specifications and help identify technically suitable alternatives Coordinate technical communication between customers, Solution Mall teams, suppliers, and manufacturers Support troubleshooting of product compatibility and application issues Assist sales teams with technical questions and customer presentations Provide technical feedback on new products, market requirements, and application trends Qualifications Experience or knowledge in optical communication, fiber-optic products, telecom equipment, networking, or related technical fields Good understanding of fiber-optic communication products and basic network architecture Ability to read and understand technical datasheets and product specifications Ability to analyze customer technical requirements and recommend suitable products Understanding of key optical communication parameters such as fiber type, wavelength, transmission distance, connector type, interface, and bandwidth Good technical communication and coordination skills Ability to work with customers, suppliers, sales teams, and project teams Good English communication skills Preferred Skills Experience with fiber optic cables, optical transceivers, passive optical components, and fiber distribution products Familiarity with SFP, SFP+, SFP28, QSFP+, QSFP28, QSFP-DD or related optical transceiver products Knowledge of single-mode and multimode fiber applications Familiarity with LC, SC, MPO/MTP and other common fiber connector systems Understanding of FTTx, PON, data center interconnection, enterprise networks, telecom transmission, or industrial communication Experience supporting RFQs, tenders, quotations, BOM preparation, or technical product selection Experience working with telecom operators, system integrators, distributors, contractors, data centers, or enterprise customers Cooperation and Compensation Flexible cooperation based on technical contribution, project participation, and business requirements.
