1. Position Summary
<p>The Contract Manager is responsible for the overall administration and commercial management of the main contract, subcontracts and consultancy agreements for the railway project. 1. Position Summary
<p>The Surveying Manager is responsible for planning, managing and controlling all surveying activities for the railway project, including survey control networks, earthworks, railway alignment, bridges, culverts, utilities and track-laying works. The role ensures that all works are accurately set out, measured, recorded and verified in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications and applicable standards.</p>
2. Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Prepare and implement the project surveying management plan, procedures and method statements.</li>
<li>Establish, verify and maintain the project’s horizontal and vertical control networks, benchmarks and reference points.</li>
<li>Manage surveying activities for railway alignment, earthworks, embankments, cuttings, drainage, bridges, culverts and trackwork.</li>
<li>Set out and verify centerlines, boundaries, coordinates, elevations, gradients, curves, chainages and construction limits.</li>
<li>Control the setting-out of bridge foundations, piles, piers, abutments, bearings, decks and associated structures.</li>
<li>Control the setting-out and verification of culverts, drainage systems, utility crossings and protection works.</li>
<li>Manage track-laying surveys, including track centerline, gauge, cant/superelevation, gradient, curvature and track geometry.</li>
<li>Verify formation level, sub-ballast, ballast, sleepers, rails, turnouts, crossings and other track components.</li>
