About the Role

Astra Agricultural Company is looking for Accountant to join its finance team in Ha'il. This is a full-time role targeting candidates with recent experience, requiring 0-1 years of experience. The successful candidate will perform essential tasks in managing and organizing financial documents, following up on revenue collection and documenting it, in addition to monitoring expenses and preparing the necessary accounting entries to ensure accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Diligently auditing financial claims and ensuring all legal and financial terms are complete before proceeding with disbursement procedures.
• Preparing, organizing, and documenting disbursement documents, and following up on their audit and approval for disbursement by approved supervisory authorities.
• Continuously monitoring operating and capital expenditures, analyzing them according to the monthly financial position for the specified budget items.
• Preparing accounting entries and recording all financial transactions in the company’s approved accounting records.
• Regularly auditing bank accounts and preparing necessary reconciliations with monthly statement comparisons to ensure full compliance.

Financial Statements and Closing Accounts

• Effectively tracking revenue collection, documenting and analyzing it to provide clear insights into financial performance.
• Preparing the financial position and monthly summaries reflecting the company’s financial status, in addition to preparing and organizing the annual closing accounts.
• Preparing specialized documents and reports in the field of expense and revenue accounting, and storing them in an organized manner in the related database for easy reference.

Developing Accounting Methods

The incumbent is expected to contribute to developing accounting work methods and procedures within the company. This includes keeping up with continuous scientific and technological advancements in accounting and applying best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial processes.

Qualifications and Required Experience

• Practical experience ranging from 0 to 1 year in accounting or a related financial field.
• Ability to work full-time in Ha’il.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial auditing procedures.
