<p>The Incumbent will be responsible for operating, monitoring and maintaining the CCM mould area to ensure stable primary solidification, consistent billet quality and safe continuous casting operations. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor the CCM mould and associated equipment during casting. Monitor mould level, mould cooling-water flow, pressure and temperature . Ensure proper functioning of the copper mould, mould oscillation system and mould lubrication . Monitor and maintain stable steel flow from tundish/SEN into the mould . Coordinate with the CCM Pulpit Operator for mould-level and casting-speed adjustments. Monitor mould condition and identify abnormal conditions such as: Mould level fluctuation Excessive mould vibration Water leakage Abnormal temperature Copper mould wear/damage Steel breakout indications Monitor and maintain mould cooling-water circuits and report abnormalities immediately. Assist in mould changeover, mould preparation and start-up/shutdown activities . Ensure correct installation and condition of copper mould, mould tube, foot rolls and related components , as applicable to caster design.
