Ensure effective tracking and management of non-moving, slow-moving, near-expiry, damaged, or unavailable items and initiate corrective actions when required. Ensure proper documentation and closure of all transactions including invoices, rejections, returns, and related inventory records. Ensure the maintenance and proper control of asset registers related to the Stores operations. Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards within all storage and handling areas. Maintain safe and hygienic storage environments and ensure deliveries comply with required safety and quality conditions. Ensure regular monitoring of expiry dates, particularly for items with short shelf life, to minimize waste and losses. Monitor supplier performance and ensure supplier rating processes are implemented and documented in coordination with hygiene and quality teams. Ensure that damages due to expiry, improper handling, or operational issues are minimized through proactive monitoring and coordination with concerned departments. Participate in the annual Zero-Based Budget planning process and ensure alignment of Stores operations with financial targets. Monitor and control operating costs and manpower expenses to ensure compliance with the approved departmental budget. Plan and optimize manpower resources based on operational requirements, peak demand, and business needs. Supervise staff attendance, punctuality, discipline, and professional conduct in accordance with company policies. Ensure all employees operating equipment such as forklifts are adequately trained and comply with safety regulations. Maintain effective communication and coordination with internal departments to support smooth operational flow. Lead, motivate, and develop the Stores team to maintain high performance, morale, and operational efficiency. Conduct performance evaluations for employees and recommend appropriate actions including promotions, salary adjustments, contract renewals, or disciplinary measures. Participate in recruitment activities and support the selection of qualified staff for Stores operations. Identify training needs and organize training programs or refresher courses to enhance employee skills and professionalism. Implement job rotation, job enrichment, and career development initiatives for employees under supervision. Conduct daily operational briefings and on-the-job training to ensure team alignment with operational goals. Continuously review operational procedures and recommend improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and service quality. Ensure compliance with company regulations, cybersecurity policies, data protection requirements, and Saudi labor law regulations. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Years and Nature of Experience8 - 10 Years minimum experience in similar position in any Warehouse or Store establishment. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and stock control practices. Good understanding of supply chain, logistics, and materials management processes. Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and storage compliance requirements. Proficiency in ERP systems (such as SAP) and inventory reporting tools. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to supervise and develop staff. Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to manage operational challenges. Effective communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams. Ability to plan, organize, and control store operations while managing costs and ensuring operational efficiency.
