We are looking for an experienced IoT & Smart City Consultant to act as the customer-facing lead for Smart City initiatives. The candidate will engage with government entities, city authorities, utilities, transportation agencies, and enterprise customers to drive digital transformation through IoT-enabled Smart City solutions. The role requires strong expertise in IoT technologies, Smart City platforms, solution consulting, stakeholder management, and pre-sales support.<br><br>Key Responsibilities Smart City Consulting & Customer Engagement Serve as the primary point of contact for Smart City opportunities and engagements. Conduct workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and solution presentations with customers. Understand city modernization initiatives and translate business requirements into technology solutions. Build trusted relationships with government and enterprise stakeholders.<br>IoT Solution Design & Architecture Design end-to-end Smart City and IoT solutions. Define solution architectures involving sensors, gateways, connectivity, cloud platforms, analytics, and visualization layers. Develop use cases and business cases for Smart City initiatives. Ensure scalability, security, and interoperability across solutions.<br>Smart City Domain Expertise Lead and support solutions across:Smart Governance Smart Mobility & Traffic Management Smart Parking Smart Utilities (Power, Water, Gas) Smart Energy Management Smart Street Lighting Smart Waste Management Smart Public Safety & Surveillance Smart Buildings Environmental Monitoring Smart Campus & Digital Communities<br>Business Development & Pre-Sales Support RFPs, RFIs, and proposal development. Conduct technology demonstrations and proof-of-concepts. Collaborate with sales teams to identify and pursue new opportunities. Develop solution collateral, presentations, and value propositions.<br>Program Delivery Support Provide technical leadership during project execution. Coordinate with engineering, development, and implementation teams. Support deployment planning, acceptance testing, and solution optimization. Ensure delivery aligns with customer requirements and business outcomes.<br>Thought Leadership Stay current with Smart City trends, regulations, and emerging technologies. Represent the organization in industry events, conferences, and customer forums.
