Aerodrome Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations, management and coordinating the facilities maintenance of Fixed Based Operation (FBO) with aerodrome maintenance division. Manage and supervise team of aerodrome and FBO staff, including passenger handling staff, ground handling crew, ensuring the highest level of customer service, operational efficiency, safety and regulatory compliance. Responsible to attend meeting with airport authorities and stakeholders, manage day to day operations, coordinate with internal and external teams, and drive performance improvement to support the growth and success of FBO service at the airport. Ensure that all operational activities comply with GACAR 151 requirements. Work closely with aerodrome maintenance team to ensure the readiness and safety of GSE and aerodrome facilities. Conduct safety briefings and training session for staff to reinforce the importance of safety. Prepare and submit reports on operations, employee performance and financial performance. Ensure that all necessary documentation is maintained and updated as required by Airport regulatory authorities. Conduct regular performance evaluation and foster a positive, collaborative and safe work environment. Handle any special requests or needs from passengers or crew, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Performs other operational, safety or management duties as directed by the Ground Services Operations Manager or higher management.<br>Areas of Accountabilities:<br>Performs all managerial functions common to the organization level such as flight operational reports, personnel actions, training and development of staff members. Coordinates turnaround movement of fixed & rotor wing aircraft to ensure efficient movement of passengers/cargo/mail. Ensure qualified Ground Support Equipment (GSE) & personnel are available to load/unload aircraft at Airport, while assuring minimal passenger inconvenience. Directs and monitors preparation of necessary documentation: Aircraft flight release forms, weight & balance forms, passenger/cargo/mail manifests, morning activity & status reports, computer inputs, fuel reports etc. Directs to submit requests for buses and taxis for company’s personnel/passengers. Responsible to maintain and coordinates all facilities maintenance activities in the airport in addition to action safety inspection deficiencies, terminal security, maintenance work orders & office services requests by coordinating with internal and external entities at Airport. Reviews time sheets and contract service entry sheets for ground operations contractor staff. Manages janitorial, administrative, transportation and operational needs with external entities. Inspects condition of aerodrome facilities and vehicles to ensure all areas and equipment are maintained and company standards are met. Monitors radio operations in order to ensure compliance with GACA, IATA, ICAO radio communications regulations. Responsible to maintain stock inventories related to ground operations, passenger handling, terminal requirements, facilities and safety items in the airport. Provides information & cooperation with Safety Review Board as requested. Coordinates with implementation of directives from Safety & Security Division. Responsible to perform public relations activities requiring meet and assist VIP passengers, distinguished visitors or while coordinating efforts with Saudi Government officials and others. Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, security, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the operations to ensure safety, security, legislative compliance and delivery of high-quality service with a responsible environmental attitude. Communicate timely with Ground Services Operations Manager on matters affecting operations and requiring attention or intervention. Performs other operational, safety or management duties as directed by the Ground Services Operations Manager or higher management.<br><br>Education:<br>Bachelor’s degree in aviation industry / hospitality or equivalent in relevant field.<br><br>Professional Qualifications:<br> IATA or Airline certifications on airport handling experience. <p>To provide a quality service to customers in respect to Check-In, Boarding, Special Services, Baggage Services, Ticket Desk and Emirates Lounge as per the criteria set forth by the Company s commercial, safety and security policies, standards and procedures. Ensure all operational criteria are completed within specified time frames as per applicable procedures. Identify and meet Emirates standard and special service requirements of the customers across key airport services touchpoints (including Lounge, Check-in, Arrivals, Boarding, and Ramp Operations) by adhering to the set service standards and procedures so that the customers are handled in a friendly and efficient manner. Adhere to the internal operating boarding procedures by ensuring that laid down boarding priorities, announcements, hand baggage removal, regular staff briefing and stationary/equipment availability before the flight. Post the flight, ensure flight coupon reconciliation and head count confirmation is in order to assist the smooth process of a safe and on time departure of EK flights to achieve EK standards and customer satisfaction. Ensure Premium passengers are always provided with the highest level of customer service. Greet passengers as they enter the Lounge and introduce them to all aspects of the Lounge product, advising them of all available services and offering assistance where required to maintain customer loyalty. Liaise with service providers and supervise staff, overseeing catering, cleaning, and maintenance operations, so that service standards are met and maintained. Assist operational staff in a proactive manner from time to time based on the directions of the shift in charge/Airport Services Manager with the airport operations to ensure passenger needs are met by undertaking various operational functions across key airport services touchpoints (Check-in, Arrivals, Boarding, Lounge and Ramp Operations.). Guide and advise team members to ensure that superior customer service levels are upheld and assist the process of ensuring the safe and on-time departure of EK flights. To liaise and monitor the Emirates Chauffeur drive company on arrival and departure. Ensure eligible customers are provided with this service on arrival and any customers that require assistance are met on departure. Ensure the expeditious and accurate completion of all reports & statistical data including passenger trends, meal wastage and recording of inwards goods and confirmation of invoices. Undertake daily/weekly stock control. Control expenditure on food, beverages & other consumables in order to minimise waste and unnecessary costs while still meeting the needs of EK passengers. Identify any potential areas of development with product delivery and address this with the Airport Services Manager. Undertake various administrative functions and other duties as directed from time to time by the Lounge Supervisor, Airport Services Manager and other senior staff on duty. Work with lounge Supervisor in developing lounge menu changes. Cover during the absences of the Lounge Supervisor ensuring that optimum customer service levels are maintained. Respond to queries and complaints in an efficient and timely manner to restore passenger confidence. Oversee the arrival of bags into the baggage hall, ensuring priority bags are first on the carousel and assist customers with missing or damaged bags referring them to Emirates GHA to complete necessary paperwork and follow up on missing bags for Premium customers ensuring customers are kept fully informed. To monitor queues at check-in ensuring priority given to Premium customer card holders. To assist and deal with any excess baggage and visa issues that may arise. Assist in dealing with any problems such as, keeping customers informed of any delays, disruptions and denied boarding including the implementation of the 'Options' scheme. Assist with the preparation and completion of pre and post flight documentation and complete all relevant station statistical information and filing. Ensure all safety instructions are always compiled with and report any damage to aircraft, ULDS, immediately and assist with preparation of relevant reports. Cover the absence of check-in supervisor and prepare flight briefs regarding customer information ensuring that all staff, GHA and service providers are fully aware of this information. Ensure all operational areas are covered and that staff are aware of what is expected of them to ensure high levels of customer service in all operational areas. Support and cover the Emirates Ticket Desk functions and undertake ticketing/reservation duties to ensure seamless service to customers. Offer full range of Emirates products and services to all customers to maximize ticketing revenue. Issue tickets, EMD, EBT, make and amend reservations as and when necessary. Re-issue and re-calculate fares for customers changing itinerary and make any additional collection as required. Carry out Credit Card verification. Complete daily ticket sales returns and assist with banking duties as required.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Minimum O level or equivalent. Must have completed relevant and recognized professional training courses in Customer Services and Handling, Ground Operations and Reservations, Fares & Ticketing.
