Back Office PS Core Engineer KSA1 Year extendable contract<br>Overview We are looking for an experienced Back Office PS Core Engineer to support the design, configuration, optimisation and troubleshooting of Ericsson Packet Core solutions across EPC and 5G Core environments.<br>The successful candidate will work closely with planning, operations and cross-functional engineering teams to maintain high availability, performance and reliability of mobile broadband services.<br>Responsibilities Perform daily health checks and alarm monitoring across Ericsson PS Core nodes, including MME, EPG, PCC/PCG, SAPC, SMF/UPF, NEF and ESOA. Troubleshoot network faults, capacity constraints and performance degradation. Manage subscriber sessions, PDP contexts, bearer handling and IMSI tracing. Implement APNs, IMSI ranges, rating groups and QoS profiles. Configure PCC rules and PDR/QER/FAR/URR policies. Support PCRF/SAPC-related configurations. Manage DNS, NAPTR and SRV configurations supporting IMS and EPC services. Support integration of new PS Core nodes, including virtualised and cloud-based EPG, MME and UPF deployments. Plan and implement software upgrades, patches and capacity expansions. Analyse KPIs including attach success, bearer setup, handover success, latency and throughput. Develop scripts for log parsing, KPI analysis and operational automation.<br>Required Skills Strong Ericsson PS Core experience across technologies such as SGSN-MME, EPG, PCC/PCG, SAPC, DRA and SMF/UPF. Strong understanding of 2G/3G/4G/5G call flows, including Attach, TAU/RAU, handover and session management. Knowledge of GTP-C/U, Diameter, Radius, HTTP/2, SIP, SCTP and TCP/UDP/IP.
