Role Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Specialist – IT Governance to support the organization's IT governance, compliance, and policy management initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining IT governance documentation, supporting regulatory compliance, coordinating IT audits, monitoring governance controls and KPIs, and contributing to governance maturity across the organization. This role requires strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills while ensuring alignment with organizational policies and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities IT Governance & Policy Management Develop, maintain, and periodically review IT policies, standards, procedures, and governance documentation. Ensure governance documentation remains aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Support the implementation and continuous improvement of IT governance processes. Promote governance awareness across the IT organization. Compliance & Regulatory Governance Monitor compliance with IT governance frameworks, internal policies, and regulatory requirements. Support compliance with standards such as NCA Essential Cybersecurity Controls (ECC), ISO standards, COBIT, and ITIL. Identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions. Assist in maintaining governance maturity and organizational compliance. IT Audit & Control Management Coordinate internal and external IT audits. Maintain audit documentation and evidence. Track audit findings and remediation actions through closure. Support management responses and follow-up activities related to audit observations. Risk & Governance Reporting Monitor IT governance controls, KPIs, and compliance metrics. Prepare governance dashboards and management reports. Support IT risk assessments and control reviews. Assist in identifying governance improvement opportunities and operational risks. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Work closely with IT, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, Internal Audit, and business stakeholders. Support governance initiatives and compliance projects. Contribute to continuous improvement of governance processes, documentation, and reporting. Assist in strengthening governance culture across the organization. Required Skills Working knowledge of IT Governance, IT Compliance, and IT Audit practices. Good understanding of governance frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, ISO 20000, and NCA ECC.
