This includes performing installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting of hardware and software products, as well as evaluating machinery condition through rotor dynamic analysis and delivering diagnostics training after certification.</p> <h3 >Specific Duties</h3>
<ul >
<li >Provide leadership, technical direction, and assistance to customers, users, and other field personnel for the diagnostic and long-term maintenance of Bently Nevada equipment and customer rotating machinery.</li>
<li >Perform installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Bently Nevada Hardware and Software Products and Solutions at customer locations.</li>
<li >Diagnose machinery problems based on available data, including vibration, process, performance data, maintenance records, and customer communications.</li>
<li >Complete timely standard service reports with documentation of findings and recommendations.</li>
<li >Respond to customer-required travel promptly, ensuring all necessary service equipment is brought.</li>
<li >Identify proper installation of permanently installed transducers and monitors, and install transducers as required.</li>
<li >Properly install temporary shaft, casing, optical, and laser-based transducers to acquire additional machinery data.</li>
<li >Professionally use MDS data acquisition instruments, including ADRE408, Scout, and System 1®, to acquire field data.</li>
<li >Successfully extract machinery data plots from MDS data acquisition instruments and System 1®.</li>
<li >Recognize and evaluate the overall quality of machinery vibration data, distinguishing between good and bad data.</li>
<li >Recognize and quantify the severity of machinery vibration data in accordance with applicable industry standards (*, API, ISO).</li>
<li >Perform field-balancing of critical machinery such as steam and gas turbines, generators, compressors, and pumps.</li>
<li >Conduct simple two-channel impact tests using an impact hammer and an appropriate accelerometer to determine natural frequencies of structures, rotors, piping, and machinery support systems.</li>
<li >Perform and interpret Operating Deflection Shapes (ODS) and basic modal analysis.</li>
<li >Collect data for torsional analysis.</li>
<li >Adhere to BH HSE standards at all work sites and conduct fieldwork in compliance with all applicable regulations and customer requirements.</li>
</ul> <h3 >Required Qualifications</h3>
<ul >
<li >Graduate engineer from an accredited institution with a minimum 4-year technical degree. A BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.</li>
<li >Minimum of 5 years of experience in Machinery Diagnostics Services Field Services.</li>
<li >Certificate as a Vibration Analyst level 3 or higher from an accredited Institute is preferred.</li>
<li >Knowledge and experience with mechanical vibration, rotating machinery vibration and diagnostics, rotor dynamic analysis, machinery balancing, and alignment.</li>
<li >Ability to interpret and understand machinery mechanical and electrical system drawings and specifications.</li>
<li >Valid driving license and passport.</li>
<li >Strong command of oral and written communication in English, including formal presentations.</li>

This position plays a critical role in maintaining an active flying program through effective and efficient maintenance and production of RB199 engines.</p> <h3 >Key Responsibilities</h3>

<li >Maintain good engineering practices and ensure compliance with RSAF Technical Orders in all aspects of jet engine work and aircraft maintenance.</li>
<li >Perform comprehensive component maintenance, including inspection, surveys, evaluation, installation, repairs, troubleshooting, servicing, overhaul, modification, and on-aircraft system testing.</li>
