Product managers at Malaa are generalists by design. You will not own a single domain; you will work across the whole product, investing, lending, savings and the growth loops that connect them, taking on whatever matters most in a given cycle. The role is built for the way product work is changing. We are looking for a product manager with a software engineering background who can take a problem from "we should address this" to a working version in days, place it in front of customers, read the results and decide whether to scale it or stop it. You will have engineers and designers, and you will be expected to do the first mile of discovery yourself. This is a senior position. You set the priorities for the initiatives you carry, you can explain and defend them, and you are accountable for what you commit to. You will collaborate with a squad of engineers and carry a changing portfolio of initiatives across the product, prioritised each cycle against what the business needs most. Over your first year, the role covers:

Outcomes rather than a backlog. You will be measured on results such as deposits into portfolios, activation and conversion between products, retention and the pace at which your squad ships. Each initiative you take on comes with a target, and you will be asked how you intend to reach it.

Building to learn. Before a specification, a prototype. You use AI development tools and your own engineering background to build a working version, read our codebase, define the event taxonomy and query the data directly. Engineers receive a running prototype and a clear brief.

Simplifying. Each quarter you remove something: a feature with no usage, a flow with unnecessary steps, a setting that should not exist. Shipping less that works well is part of the role.

Growing what works. Once a feature has traction, you improve it through experiments, cohort analysis and funnel data until the numbers move.

Treating regulation as product work. Compliance, personal data protection, KYC and disclosures are designed into the product from the start. You involve the compliance team early and make regulated flows feel simple to the customer.

Managing intake. Requests reach product from across the company. You maintain a single channel and a single ranked list, and you decline in writing with a reason.

How product and engineering work together?

Product and engineering at Malaa operate as one team under a single planning model. Each product manager is paired with a small squad of engineers and its engineering lead, with design shared across squads, and the ratio of product managers to engineers is kept deliberately low. All change, whether customer facing, technical health, reliability or platform, enters the same prioritisation, so a product manager is expected to make the case for engineering health alongside customer outcomes. Execution is coordinated daily within the squad; priorities, capacity and trade offs are settled weekly across squads. Every initiative is documented before it is built, and product managers carry out the technical exploration needed to write complete requirements. You will shape a product that manages real money for a large customer base in one of the fastest growing markets in the world. The team is small, the standard is high and the impact of your decisions is visible in the numbers. If you want to build, ship and see results, this is that seat.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required: Three or more years in product management, with real ownership of a live consumer or fintech product and measurable results you can speak to. A software engineering background: a computer science or engineering degree and time spent as an engineer, or an equally strong record of building software yourself. You can read our code and you have built working prototypes with your own hands, with or without AI tools. Fluency with product data. You have defined event tracking, run experiments and made decisions from funnels and cohorts. Professional written and spoken Arabic and English.

Preferred: Experience in a regulated product (banking, investment, lending or insurance) and familiarity with keeping compliance inside the product process. Daily use of AI development and analysis tools, with a working prototype you can show. Experience as the senior product person in a small team, setting the standard for others.

See our Gulf Healthcare Licensing Support for the full sequence.

What this appointment asks of you

Neurological rehabilitation inside a Royal Household is a long game played daily. The physiotherapist owns the programme for a senior member of the family: assessment, goal-setting with the family and the visiting neurologist, daily sessions across mobility, balance, gait and upper-limb function, falls prevention across the residence, and the measured outcomes that show the household what is being achieved. The suite is private and well equipped; the team around the patient rehabilitation physician, occupational therapy, nurses is coordinated by the physiotherapist for everything that touches movement. Six years including substantive stroke or neuro-rehabilitation practice is the threshold; the Riyadh household will select for patience, clinical reasoning and the discretion that senior family members expect.

Licensing sequence: SCFHS, Saudi Arabia

The Kingdom s regulator is the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS), and every step runs through its Mumaris Plus platform. For this appointment the route is: DataFlow primary source verification of your physiotherapy degree, current registration (HCPC, CORU or your European regulator), certificate of good standing and experience letters on institutional letterhead typically four to eight weeks when the dossier is complete on submission. SCFHS professional classification, which sets your title and grade; physiotherapists are classified as Specialist or Senior Specialist according to qualification and verified years, and we confirm whether an assessment applies before you commit. Professional registration and licence issuance, followed by the work visa, the medical fitness examination and the iqama (residency permit) on arrival. Household onboarding: NDA execution, accommodation, banking and the practical steps we coordinate with the family office before your first day. With a complete dossier on day one we usually see SCFHS eligibility inside ten to fourteen weeks; the visa and residency stage then runs in parallel with relocation planning. Our notes on SCFHS and Mumaris Plus in 2026 and on the DataFlow workflow set out what to prepare, and good-standing certificates explains the one document that most often delays a file. Physiotherapists should also read how HCPC registration is assessed in the Gulf .

Reading the package

Base remuneration for this appointment is £82,000 £108,000 per annum, paid without deduction: there is no personal income tax on employment earnings in Saudi Arabia, which is why a Gulf figure should never be compared line-for-line with a gross UK or European salary. Because accommodation, flights and health cover sit outside the base figure, the practical comparison is with your current net pay after rent, commuting and tax not with your gross salary. Our note on reading the real numbers behind a tax-free salary walks through that arithmetic. An end-of-service gratuity accrues for every completed year of service and is settled on departure see end-of-service gratuity and repatriation for the calculation and the contract clauses that govern it. Your home-country tax position on departure split-year treatment for UK residents, exit formalities elsewhere in Europe is worth settling before the first salary lands; we introduce candidates to a cross-border adviser, and cost of living and net position for Gulf clinicians gives the household-level numbers. Run your own comparison with the UK versus GCC net position calculator or the Gulf net package estimator ; we are happy to walk through the result with you before any interview.

Desired Candidate Profile

Physiotherapy qualification from a Tier-1 UK or European institution , with current registration (HCPC, CORU or an equivalent European regulator).
