In this hands-on role you will own the environment end to end — from LAN and WAN architecture, Active Directory and Exchange, and enterprise firewalls, through cloud and hybrid platforms, down to Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure and Commvault backup and recovery. You will lead the restructuring of our local network in line with ISO standards, act as the go-to expert whenever a critical incident needs troubleshooting or an application needs access provisioned securely, and work closely with application, security, and business teams to keep our services fast, available, and protected. Key Responsibilities• Design, build, and operate local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN), including routing and switching, IP addressing, VLAN segmentation, and site-to-site connectivity with branches and external entities.• Lead the restructuring of the existing local network — redesigning topology, cabling, addressing, and segmentation to align with best practices and ISO standards.• Administer Microsoft Active Directory (domains, forests, Group Policy, OU design, replication, trusts) and Microsoft Exchange (mailboxes, mail flow, transport rules, anti-spam, high availability).• Design, deploy, and operate workloads on cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or equivalent), including hybrid connectivity and identity integration between on-premises and cloud environments.• Analyze the infrastructure requirements of business applications and expertly provision the permissions and access rights they need, applying the principle of least privilege and conducting periodic access reviews.• Act as the organization’s firewall specialist: design and administer next-generation firewalls (Forti Gate, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/Firepower), including security policies, NAT, IPS/IDS, web filtering, and secure remote access (VPN).• Design, implement, and operate enterprise backup and recovery, with strong emphasis on Commvault — backup and storage policies, deduplication, restore testing, and RPO/RTO management.• Deploy, administer, and optimize Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure (Prism, AHV) and virtualization platforms (VMware v Sphere / Hyper-V), including clusters, high availability, and capacity planning.• Apply and maintain ISO standards — notably ISO/IEC 27001 — across network and infrastructure operations, and support internal and external audits with documentation and evidence.• Provide advanced (Tier 2/3) troubleshooting for network, systems, cloud, and infrastructure incidents; perform root-cause analysis and implement durable, permanent fixes.• Monitor performance and capacity with enterprise tools, manage incidents, problems, and changes in line with ITIL practices, and coordinate with vendors and ISPs on escalations and SLAs.• Maintain complete, up-to-date infrastructure documentation: network diagrams, IP plans, configuration baselines, runbooks, and standard operating procedures. Required Qualifications• 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network and infrastructure administration.• Proven ability to design and build LAN and WAN networks end to end — topology design, implementation, and day-two operation.• Strong, demonstrable experience administering Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange in production environments.• Professional experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or equivalent), including hybrid cloud scenarios.• Expert-level administration of enterprise next-generation firewalls (Fortinet Forti Gate, Palo Alto, or Cisco ASA/Firepower).• Solid understanding of application infrastructure requirements and expert skill in granting and governing permissions and access rights.• Hands-on expertise with enterprise backup solutions, especially Commvault, covering design, operation, and tested recovery.• Specialization in Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure (Prism, AHV, cluster lifecycle and administration).• Demonstrated experience delivering LAN restructuring/redesign projects and applying ISO standards, notably ISO/IEC 27001.• Advanced troubleshooting skill across network, systems, and infrastructure layers, with strong root-cause analysis discipline.• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent proven experience). Professional registration and licence issuance, followed by the work visa, the medical fitness examination and the iqama (residency permit) on arrival. Household onboarding: NDA execution, accommodation, banking and the practical steps we coordinate with the family office before your first day. With a complete dossier on day one we usually see SCFHS eligibility inside ten to fourteen weeks; the visa and residency stage then runs in parallel with relocation planning. Our notes on SCFHS and Mumaris Plus in 2026 and on the DataFlow workflow set out what to prepare, and good-standing certificates explains the one document that most often delays a file. Physiotherapists should also read how HCPC registration is assessed in the Gulf .

Reading the package

Base remuneration for this appointment is £82,000 £108,000 per annum, paid without deduction: there is no personal income tax on employment earnings in Saudi Arabia, which is why a Gulf figure should never be compared line-for-line with a gross UK or European salary. Because accommodation, flights and health cover sit outside the base figure, the practical comparison is with your current net pay after rent, commuting and tax not with your gross salary. Our note on reading the real numbers behind a tax-free salary walks through that arithmetic. An end-of-service gratuity accrues for every completed year of service and is settled on departure see end-of-service gratuity and repatriation for the calculation and the contract clauses that govern it. Your home-country tax position on departure split-year treatment for UK residents, exit formalities elsewhere in Europe is worth settling before the first salary lands; we introduce candidates to a cross-border adviser, and cost of living and net position for Gulf clinicians gives the household-level numbers. Run your own comparison with the UK versus GCC net position calculator or the Gulf net package estimator ; we are happy to walk through the result with you before any interview.

Desired Candidate Profile

Physiotherapy qualification from a Tier-1 UK or European institution , with current registration (HCPC, CORU or an equivalent European regulator). Minimum six years experience , including substantive neurological rehabilitation practice in a stroke unit or neuro-rehabilitation centre; Bobath/NDT or equivalent postgraduate training is valued. Demonstrated discretion in confidential household environments. Fluent English.
