The project integrates renewable solar, wind, and storage power to produce green ammonia for global export, with operations scheduled to commence in 2026.<br>Position Summary The ASU & Utilities Control Room Operator is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Air Separation Unit (ASU) production process and Utilities plants, including Air Separation Unit, GAN supply pipeline, LIN storage tanks and vaporizers, LIN loading station, CW systems, DW systems, and Instrument Air (IA) plant. The role ensures operations are carried out in accordance with company safety policies and site-specific procedures to achieve reliability, efficiency, and productivity targets while maintaining safe plant operations.<br>Key Responsibilities:<br>Plant Operations Operate and monitor the ASU and Utilities plants safely and reliably in accordance with NGHC standards. <section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles &amp; Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p><strong>Position Title- Crane Operator</strong></p><p>Reports to- Supervisor, Rig Move</p><br><p><strong>Job Purpose</strong></p><p>The main purpose of the Crane Operator position is to safely and efficiently operate cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment at AMHEC’s clients’ sites.</p><br><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Operate different types of cranes, all terrain mobile cranes, and rough terrain cranes, depending on the specific requirements of the job.</p></li><li><p>Understand and follow safety protocols and procedures while operating the crane to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.</p></li><li><p>Conduct pre-operational checks on the crane to ensure it is in proper working condition.</p></li><li><p>Perform routine maintenance on the crane, such as lubricating parts, checking hydraulic systems, and replacing worn-out components.</p></li><li><p>Report any malfunctions or defects to his direct supervisor and coordinator, operations for timely repairs.</p></li><li><p>Determine the weight and dimensions of the load to be lifted and select the appropriate crane and lifting gear using assigned crane load chart.</p></li><li><p>Precisely and accurately position heavy loads, particularly when working in confined spaces or in proximity to existing structures.</p></li><li><p>Rig the load properly, attaching slings, hooks, or other lifting devices as needed.</p></li><li><p>Lift and move loads to specified locations with precision, considering environmental factors and potential obstacles.</p></li><li><p>Maintain clear and constant communication with ground personnel, signalers, and other team members using hand signals, two-way radios, or other communication devices.</p></li><li><p>Follow instructions from supervisors, truck pushers and work collaboratively with the rig move team.</p></li><li><p>Adhere to AMHEC’s policies, procedures and safe work instruction.</p></li><li><p>Identify and mitigate potential hazards in the crane operating area.</p></li><li><p>Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and regulations.</p></li><li><p>When required, keep accurate records of daily activities, including the type and weight of loads lifted, hours of operation, and maintenance performed.</p></li><li><p>Complete required paperwork and reports, such as lift plans, checklist and logbooks.</p></li><li><p>Adjust crane operation based on changing environmental factors.</p></li><li><p>Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues or malfunctions in a timely manner.</p></li><li><p>Sign-off on the Equipment Checklist along with Operations representative and inspector prior to mobilization, as an acknowledgement of receiving in good condition prior to project execution.</p></li><li><p>Check working condition of the crane and all accessories, on a daily basis prior to utilization.</p></li><li><p>Perform safety and maintenance checks as per the loading equipment guidelines.</p></li><li><p>Document daily inspection, safety and maintenance checks.</p></li><li><p>Complete operation time sheets (of AMHEC and client), daily, in an ethical and diligent manner and obtain approval from the authorized client representative.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with the truck pushers to submit time sheets, immediately, upon project completion.</p></li><li><p>Clean, maintain and secure all crane as directed by the equipment operation guidelines.</p></li><li><p>Assemble accessories as per the loading equipment operation guidelines.</p></li><li><p>Monitor site conditions which could affect loading operation and refuse (using the stop work authority) any operation which is unsafe or could damage the equipment and accessories.</p></li><li><p>Place blocks and outriggers to prevent capsizing when lifting heavy loads. Adhere to a crane load chart for all types of lifts.</p></li><li><p>Adequately secure and shut down and park the crane and its accessories, if unattended and at closure of daily operations.</p></li><li><p>Consider all factors that might reduce load capacity and adjust the load weight to counter such factors including weather and ground conditions.</p></li><li><p>Follow safety guidelines at AMHEC, client and rig sites and must always be in personal protective equipment when on duty.</p></li><li><p>Inform the Truck Pushers, Coordinator, Rig Move of any problems, maintenance, or necessary repairs to the equipment and complete the basic requirements in the Work Order form.</p></li><li><p>Sign-off on the Equipment Checklist along with Operations representative prior to demobilization and at the time of arrival at AMHEC’s Yard, as an acknowledgement.</p></li><li><p>Receive any complaints about operations and quality of service from the client and report the same to the Supervisor, Truck Pushers, Coordinator, and Operations in a timely manner.</p></li><li><p>Maintain decorum and respond to AMHEC and all client representatives in a courteous and respectful manner.</p></li><li><p>Participate in all Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and operator training organized by HSE department.</p></li><li><p>Monitor the fuel usage.</p></li><li><p>Adhere to all employee and process level policies and procedures as per AMHEC’s Business Conduct and Ethics and Operations Manual.</p></li><li><p>Make decisions quickly and efficiently to ensure the safety and productivity of the work site.</p></li><li><p>Stay informed about updates to licensing and certification requirements.</p></li><li><p>Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by his/her direct manager.</p></li></ul><br><p><strong>HSE Responsibility</strong></p><ul><li><p>Identifies any Health, Safety or Environmental risks and recommends and implements measures and solutions to mitigate these risks.</p></li><li><p>Complies with established health and safety guidelines and procedures and ensures the health, safety and welfare of self and others.</p></li><li><p>Identifies and reports to management any Health, Safety or Environmental risks and makes suggestions to address these risks and cooperate with his/her supervisor’s instructions.</p></li></ul><br><p><strong>QHSE Authority</strong></p><ul><li><p>Contribute to the QMS by implementing processes in accordance with roles and responsibilities.</p></li><li><p>Participate in training programs to develop and maintain the necessary competence for the role.</p></li><li><p>Follow documented procedures and work instructions relevant to the work.</p></li><li><p>Report any changes, nonconformities and suggest corrective actions to prevent recurrence.</p></li></ul><br><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><p>High School Diploma or equivalent.</p></li><li><p>Hands-on experience operating various types of cranes.</p></li><li><p>Possess the necessary licenses and certifications required to operate specific types of cranes i.e. SAG and Saudi Aramco license.</p></li><li><p>Preferably with previous work experience in Oil &amp; Gas, Construction, or a related field with heavy machinery and site conditions.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in operating cranes, including crane controls, load charts and safety devices.</p></li><li><p>Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety regulations.</p></li><li><p>Effective communication skills in coordinating lifts with ground crews/riggers and relaying information accurately.</p></li></ul><br><p><strong>Working Conditions</strong></p><ul><li><p>Nature of work may require working beyond standard working hours.</p></li></ul><br><p><strong>Physical/Travel Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><p>Travel (up to 90%) within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to AMHEC’s sites, yards and branches.</p></li><li><p>Maintain physical fitness and agility to operate the controls and respond to changing conditions effectively.</p></li></ul></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><p>.</p><p></p></section>
