You will monitor and operate the hotel's CCTV and security systems, respond to incidents, and support the Security team in maintaining the highest standards of safety, security, and service in line with hotel policies and procedures.<br><br><b>Key Accountabilities</b><ul><li>Monitor all CCTV cameras, access control systems, fire alarm panels, and other security equipment to ensure effective surveillance of the property.</li><li>Identify, investigate, and report suspicious activities, security breaches, safety hazards, and operational irregularities.</li><li>Maintain continuous observation of public areas, entrances, exits, back-of-house locations, and other critical areas of the hotel.</li><li>Record, document, and escalate incidents promptly according to hotel procedures.</li><li>Support emergency response activities, including fire alarms, medical emergencies, evacuations, and security incidents.</li><li>Coordinate with Security Officers, Duty Managers, and relevant departments during investigations and emergency situations.</li><li>Ensure CCTV recordings and security data are handled confidentially and in accordance with company policies and local regulations.</li><li>Conduct routine checks of surveillance and security equipment, reporting any malfunctions or maintenance requirements.</li><li>Maintain accurate logs, shift reports, incident reports, and security records.</li><li>Assist with access control management, visitor monitoring, key control, and contractor supervision when required.</li><li>Support loss prevention initiatives by monitoring potential theft, fraud, and unauthorized access.</li><li>Provide professional assistance to guests and colleagues while maintaining a high level of customer service.</li><li>Remain familiar with hotel emergency procedures, security protocols, and local legal requirements.</li><li>Participate in security training, drills, and continuous improvement initiatives.</li></ul><br><b>What We Need From You</b><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent qualification.</li><li>Previous experience in security operations, CCTV monitoring, or a related field preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance equipment, and security procedures.</li><li>Basic computer skills and ability to prepare reports and maintain records.</li><li>Good observation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overnight duties as required.</li><li>Relevant security or CCTV certification/license (where required by local regulations).</li></ul><br><b>Key Competencies</b><ul><li>Attention to Detail</li><li>Integrity and Confidentiality</li><li>Situational Awareness</li><li>Customer Focus</li><li>Teamwork and Collaboration</li><li>Problem Solving</li><li>Communication Skills</li><li>Accountability</li><li>Emergency Response Readiness</li></ul><br><b>What We Offer</b><br>At IHG, we provide our colleagues with opportunities to grow, learn, and make a difference every day.
