This role is crucial for maintaining inventory integrity and timely delivery to our customers.</p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and commercial invoices.</li><li>Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure products are ready for shipment according to schedules.</li><li>Verify the accuracy of outgoing shipments against orders, ensuring correct quantities, product types, and addresses.</li><li>Arrange transportation and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.</li><li>Load and unload trucks, when necessary, using appropriate equipment and following safety guidelines.</li><li>Maintain accurate inventory records of shipped goods and materials.</li><li>Communicate effectively with carriers, customers, and internal departments regarding shipping statuses and issues.</li><li>Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.</li><li>Ensure all shipping activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.</li><li>Assist with other warehouse duties as required, including organizing and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree in logistics or a related field is a plus.</p><p>Proven experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar role within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.</p><p>Proficient in using shipping software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).</p><p>Strong attention to detail and accuracy.</p><p>Excellent organizational and time management skills.</p><p>Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks required in a warehouse setting.</p><p>Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain one.</p><p>Good communication and interpersonal skills.</p><p>Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.</p>
