About the role We run production multi-agent systems that handle real work for a large base of users.
As those systems grow, our biggest constraint is confidence: we need to know how well the agents perform, catch regressions before they ship, and keep quality steady as we release.
This role owns that.
You'll build the evaluation systems behind our agents - the judges, test harnesses, and simulators that tell us whether an agent is working and where it's failing.
The goal is to let us ship agents faster because we can trust what the evaluation tells us.
Evaluation is the focus, but it won't be the boundary.
Because you'll understand the agents' failure modes better than anyone there will also be opportunities to contribute to agent development itself, building and improving the agents alongside the systems that evaluate them.
Responsibilities Own the evaluation stack.
Design and build LLM-as-judge systems, calibrate them against human labels, and make agent quality measurable per-agent and per-failure-mode.
Make the release gate real.
Build per-PR eval harnesses and regression detection wired into CI, so quality is enforced automatically, not by manual passes.
Build user simulators to generate test coverage and adversarial cases before real users hit them.
Turn production signal into improvement - pipe real failures back into evaluation sets so the system compounds over time.
Partner with product to turn "what good looks like" into concrete, measurable criteria.
Grow into agent development - contribute to building and hardening the agents themselves, starting with the components you know most deeply from evaluating them.
Strong software engineering fundamentals.
Production Python or Typescript (or similar), clean API and system design, testing, CI/CD.
You write code others build on - evaluation infrastructure is real engineering.
Hands-on LLM/agent experience.
You've built with LLMs - agents, RAG, tool/function calling, orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain, or equivalent) - and understand how they behave and break.
A measurement mindset.
You reason about metrics, calibration, and experiments; you want to quantify whether something works, not just ship it.
Production experience.
You've run LLM systems in production and dealt with reliability, latency, cost, and observability.
5+ years software engineering, with recent hands-on LLM/agent work.
Nice to have Direct experience evaluating LLM/agent systems - offline/online eval, LLM-as-judge, systematic regression testing.
Observability tooling (Arize, LangSmith, or similar).
Arabic language / NLP experience.
E-commerce or merchant-facing product experience.

Company Description:
Netzero is a Saudi climate-tech company based in Khobar. We build the technology behind large-scale tree planting and ecosystem restoration.
Restoration at scale runs on software. Field teams need tools that hold up in the desert. Operations and customers need products that make complicated projects simple to run and easy to understand. That is what we are building, and we want someone to build it with us.
Who we are looking for:We hire for agency above everything else. The person we want does not wait to be assigned work. They use the product, notice what is broken, fix it, then tell us what else they found. They read about something new on Saturday and have a prototype by Tuesday.
When they learn something worth knowing, the whole team knows it by Friday.
Titles matter less to us than impact. Junior or senior counts for less than how fast you move and how deeply you think. Problems here belong to whoever sees them, not to a team or a ticket.
What you will work on:• Own features end to end: scope, design, build, ship, then keep improving them in production.• Build customer-facing products that make environmental impact clear and engaging.• Build and maintain backend services: APIs, auth, payments, notifications, background jobs, internal workflows.• Build mobile experiences that work for people in real field conditions.• Turn requests from non-technical stakeholders into product and technical decisions you can defend.• Fix production issues at the root cause, not the symptom.• Improve tooling, tests, observability, and CI/CD so the whole team ships faster.
Our stack:Frontend: Type Script, React, Vite, Tan Stack Router/Start, Tan Stack Query, Tailwind CSS, Zustand Backend: Type Script, Node.js, Bun, Express, Postgre SQL, Drizzle ORMMobile: Type Script, React Native, Expo Router, Tan Stack Query, Zustand, Unistyles
What we want to see:• Strong fundamentals and a track record of shipping.• Frontend and backend experience. Mobile is a strong advantage.• Something significant you built, rebuilt, or rescued, and can walk us through in detail.• Improvements you shipped that nobody asked for.• Comfort with problems that are not fully defined yet.• Strong architectural opinions, backed by judgment and real evidence.• You use AI tools to move faster and try more approaches without dropping the quality bar. Move fast, do not ship slop.
Why netzero:• Real environmental impact. The software you write changes how restoration projects are run and experienced.• A small, senior team. High ownership, little bureaucracy, fast execution.• Direct access to decision-makers. Your technical and product input actually lands.
Location and work style:Khobar, Eastern Province. Hybrid: mostly together at the Khobar office, with a coup. This is not a fully remote role.
Above all: what you can build, and how you think.

You ll be responsible for the outcomes of your area end to end: understanding the customer deeply, defining what to build and why, and working with engineering and design to ship products people rely on every day. This is a hands-on ownership role. You ll set the direction for your area, make hard prioritization calls, and be measured by the impact you deliver, not the volume of features you ship. As Jisr grows, the exact scope you own may evolve; we re looking for someone who thrives on owning a real problem space and can flex as the business does.

Responsibilities

Own your area end to end: Take full ownership of the outcomes of your product area, from problem discovery through delivery and adoption. Set a clear direction and be accountable for the results.

Discovery & customer understanding: Develop deep, first-hand understanding of customers and their workflows. Run research, talk to users, analyze behavior, and turn insight into a clear point of view on what matters most.

Strategy & prioritization: Define the roadmap for your area and make deliberate trade-offs. Prioritize ruthlessly based on customer value, business impact, and effort, and be able to explain the reasoning behind your choices.

Execution & delivery: Partner closely with engineering and design to define requirements, shape solutions, and ship high-quality products on a predictable cadence. Stay close to the details and unblock the team.

Data & measurement: Define the metrics that matter for your area, instrument them, and use data to drive decisions. Track adoption and impact after launch and iterate based on what you learn.

Stakeholder management: Work across sales, customer success, support, and leadership to gather input, align on priorities, and communicate what s shipping and why. Build trust as the go-to owner of your area.

Quality & reliability: Care about the craft, usability, edge cases, performance, and the operational reliability of features customers depend on daily.

Go-to-market: Partner with marketing, sales, and support to launch well, ensuring the right enablement, positioning, and feedback loops are in place after release.

Why explore a career at Jisr At Jisr, we re on a mission to make work-life simpler, more pleasant, and more productive for everyone. You move problems forward without waiting to be told how.

Customer obsession: Genuine curiosity about users and a habit of talking to them directly. You can translate messy real-world workflows into clear product decisions.

Prioritization & judgment: Strong ability to make trade-offs under constraints and defend them with clear reasoning. You focus the team on what matters most.

Execution strength: Proven ability to ship, working effectively with engineering and design to turn ambiguity into shipped, high-quality product.

Analytical skills: Comfortable with data; able to define metrics, interrogate them, and make evidence-based decisions.

Communication: Clear written and verbal communication; can align stakeholders at all levels and articulate the why behind the work.

Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities and scope can shift.
