The Risk Officer will be responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting operational risks, ensuring strict compliance with Bank policies, SAMA regulations, and Basel standards.</p> <h3 >Key Responsibilities</h3> <ul > <li >Support the implementation and continuous enhancement of the Operational Risk Management Framework in line with Bank policies, SAMA regulations, and Basel standards.</li> <li >Identify, assess, monitor, and report operational risks across the Branch while maintaining the Operational Risk Register.</li> <li >Conduct Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, identifying control gaps and recommending improvements.</li> <li >Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs, operational incidents, and loss events, perform root cause analysis, and follow up on corrective actions.</li> <li >Review new products, services, projects, and major business changes from an operational risk perspective.</li> <li >Prepare operational risk reports, recommendations, and management updates.</li> <li >Follow up on Internal Audit, External Audit, and regulatory observations to ensure timely implementation of agreed actions.</li> <li >Monitor regulatory developments and assess the impact of new SAMA and Basel requirements on the Branch.</li> <li >Support Operational Risk stress testing, scenario analysis, Business Continuity Management (BCM), and Disaster Recovery initiatives.</li> <li >Contribute to the development and update of Operational Risk policies and procedures, provide risk advisory support to business units, and promote risk awareness through training and guidance.</li> </ul> <h3 >Required Qualifications and Experience</h3> <ul > <li >2-5 years of experience in a relevant risk management role.</li> <li >Good knowledge of Operational Risk principles, SAMA regulations, and Basel requirements.</li> </ul> <h3 >Essential Skills</h3> <ul > <li >Ability to work effectively under pressure.</li> <li >Strong collaborative skills to work effectively across various departments.</li> </ul> <h3 >Application Process</h3> <p >We invite qualified candidates to apply for this position.
