Primary objective:The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all students, staff, and visitors using the school's swimming pool and aquatic facilities at all times. A recognised teaching qualification (for example PGCE, QTS or equivalent) and proven classroom teaching experience. Significant experience of leading or managing a curriculum area, with demonstrable impact on student outcomes. Strong understanding of assessment practices, data analysis and exam specifications relevant to the school s curriculum. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to motivate and develop colleagues. Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and promoting positive behaviour in line with school policies.
