Coordinate with EDECS’s technical and operational teams to evaluate delivery capabilities, commercial assumptions, and risks. Recommend whether EDECS should build, acquire, invest, or partner when entering new sectors. Support opportunities from initial development through negotiation and financial close.4. Capital Partnerships Develop relationships with family offices, infrastructure funds, private equity firms, banks, sovereign investors, and strategic investors. Identify suitable equity, debt, project-finance, and co-investment partners for approved initiatives. Support the preparation and presentation of investment opportunities to potential capital partners. Coordinate with the Group Investments Director on valuation, financial structuring, capital requirements, and expected returns.5. Governance and Reporting Maintain a live opportunity pipeline showing value, probability, strategic fit, risks, decision dates, and next actions. Prepare regular reports for the Group Investments Director and Chairman. Coordinate corporate development activities across investment, finance, legal, technical, and operational teams. Lead opportunity origination and external commercial engagement while the Group Investments Director retains responsibility for valuation, financial underwriting, capital allocation, Investment Committee recommendations, and portfolio monitoring.
