The role also involves fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the maintenance team and across operations.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Oversee and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for production and utility equipment.</li><li>Ensure maximum equipment availability and reliability by minimizing breakdowns and optimizing maintenance strategies.</li><li>Coordinate with production, engineering, and planning teams to align maintenance schedules with operational needs.</li><li>Track and improve maintenance KPIs such as response time, backlog, and asset uptime.</li><li>Supervise maintenance facilities, including workshops, tools, and infrastructure, to ensure operational readiness.</li><li>Lead continuous improvement initiatives using techniques such as root cause analysis (RCA) and lean methodologies.</li><li>Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, reports, and technical records.</li><li>Manage spare parts inventory, stock control, and ensure timely availability of critical components.</li><li>Coordinate with third-party service providers to ensure timely and quality execution of external maintenance work.</li><li>Support maintenance planning and scheduling processes, ensuring effective resource allocation.</li><li>Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team, identifying training needs and building technical capabilities.</li><li>Foster a culture of accountability, discipline, and high performance within the team.</li><li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Procurement, Finance, HR, Quality, and HSE for smooth operations.</li><li>Liaise with external vendors, OEMs, contractors, and regulatory authorities as required.</li></ul><h3>Safety and Quality Compliance</h3><ul><li>Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety &amp; Environment (HSE) standards, policies, and legal requirements.</li><li>Promote a strong safety culture through regular audits, training, and awareness initiatives.</li><li>Participate in risk assessments, incident investigations, and implementation of corrective actions.</li><li>Ensure proper use of PPE and safe working practices across all maintenance activities.</li><li>Ensure compliance with food safety standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Food Safety Management System.</li><li>Identify potential food safety hazards and ensure effective preventive and corrective measures.</li><li>Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and hygiene standards.</li><li>Participate in audits, training programs, and food safety reviews.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications and Experience</h3><ul><li>A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in maintenance supervision, preferably within the meat or food processing industry.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead maintenance teams and manage plant operations.</li><li>Strong understanding of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies.</li><li>Knowledge of HSE, food safety, GMP, and hygiene standards.</li></ul><h3>Location and Work Type</h3><p>This full-time position is based in the Makkah region, with operations in both Jeddah and Makkah.
