Saudi Nationals Only<br>Company Overview Tanajib Operation and Maintenance Company operates a Power Cogeneration Plant and Seawater Desalination Plant constructed as part of the Marjan Field Project of Saudi Aramco, with a net capacity of approximately 940 MW of electricity generation and steam output of approximately 1,084 tons per hour, along with a desalinated water output of approximately 19,470 cubic meters per day<br>Vacancy Reporting directly to the Lead Mechanical Engineer, the Mechanical Engineer will lead a team of technicians to fulfil day-to-day mechanical maintenance activities across the Tanajib Cogeneration and Desalination Plants.<br>The Mechanical Engineer will support the planning and execution of planned and unplanned outages for major plant equipment and support plant improvement projects. The role is responsible for ensuring that maintenance activities support plant availability, reliability, efficiency, generation and cost targets while maintaining high safety and environmental standards.<br>The successful candidate will support maintenance planning, CMMS implementation, outage coordination, engineering activities, spare parts management and long-term maintenance strategies. The role will also contribute to strengthening team capability and ensuring effective coordination between Maintenance, Operations and other plant functions.<br>Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Power Plant Engineering. Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in power plants, cogeneration plants, desalination plants or utilities of large continuous process facilities. Experience in Combined Cycle Gas Turbine power plants including Gas Turbines, HRSGs, Steam Turbines and auxiliary systems is a must. Experience in plant start-up, commissioning, outage planning and execution is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of maintenance management practices, CMMS, maintenance planning and reliability improvement. Experience managing OEM interfaces, contractors and maintenance activities is preferred. Strong understanding of Quality, Health, Safety, Environment and applicable maintenance standards. Strong leadership, communication, planning and problem-solving skills. Working knowledge of maintenance budgeting and cost control is preferred.
