Crane Electrical System Maintenance</p><ul><li>Troubleshoot and maintain crane motors, drives, control panels, contactors, relays, PLCs, sensors and electrical protection systems.</li><li>Handle electrical maintenance of: Hoisting mechanism Long-travel mechanism Cross-travel mechanism Crane control systems Limit switches and proximity sensors Pendant / radio remote control systems Power supply and conductor systems Cable reels and festoon systems Slip rings and collectors</li><li>Maintain and troubleshoot AC/DC motors, VFDs, soft starters and motor control circuits.</li><li>Ensure proper functioning of electrical interlocks and safety circuits .</li></ul><p>3. PLC, Drives & Automation</p><ul><li>Troubleshoot crane PLC-based control systems and identify I/O, communication and control-related faults.</li><li>Work with VFD/drive systems for hoisting, travelling and auxiliary crane movements.</li><li>Diagnose drive faults, overcurrent, overload, overvoltage, encoder and communication failures.</li><li>Troubleshoot PLC I/O modules, sensors, encoders, limit switches and proximity switches.</li><li>Coordinate with automation/instrumentation teams for complex PLC and communication issues.</li><li>Maintain crane control logic and electrical parameters as per OEM specifications.</li></ul><p>4. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance</p><ul><li>Execute preventive maintenance schedules for crane electrical equipment.</li><li>Conduct inspection of motors, panels, drives, cables, busbars, collectors, brakes and control circuits.</li><li>Check insulation resistance, earthing, current, voltage, temperature and other electrical parameters.</li><li>Monitor electrical equipment health and identify potential failures before breakdown.</li><li>Maintain preventive-maintenance records and equipment history.</li><li>Ensure timely replacement of critical electrical components.</li></ul><p>5. Breakdown Analysis & Reliability</p><ul><li>Attend critical crane electrical breakdowns immediately to minimize production loss.</li><li>Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for repetitive and major electrical failures.</li><li>Identify recurring faults in motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, control panels and power-supply systems.</li><li>Develop corrective and preventive actions to improve crane reliability.</li><li>Monitor MTBF, MTTR, breakdown frequency and equipment availability.</li></ul><p>6. Crane Safety Systems</p><ul><li>Ensure proper functioning of all crane electrical safety systems and interlocks.</li><li>Inspect and maintain emergency stop circuits, overload protection, limit switches, anti-collision systems and warning systems.</li><li>Ensure proper implementation of LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) before electrical maintenance.</li><li>Ensure electrical isolation and discharge procedures are followed before working on equipment.</li><li>Ensure compliance with plant electrical safety procedures and statutory requirements.</li></ul><p>7. In this role, you will develop and maintain accurate traffic signal layout drawings, intersection base plans, controller and detection information, and as-built records that support traffic engineering and Traffic Control Center operations across Riyadh.</p> <p> </p> <p>You will work closely with traffic signal engineers, Synchro modelers, roadway engineers, ITS specialists, field inspectors, and TCC staff to ensure that the drawings used for operational analysis and signal management accurately reflect current field conditions and approved changes.</p> <p> </p> <p> <b>What You ll Be Doing:</b> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Prepare, update, and maintain CADD traffic signal layout plans for signalized intersections and coordinated corridors.</p> </li> <li> <p>Develop accurate intersection base drawings showing roadway geometry, lane assignments, stop bars, crosswalks, signal poles, signal heads, pedestrian equipment, cabinets, detection zones, communications elements, signs, and relevant pavement markings.</p> </li> <li> <p>Update existing signal drawings using field survey information, redlines, photographs, controller records, construction drawings, and verified as-built information.</p> </li> <li> <p>Prepare and maintain as-built traffic signal plans used by traffic engineers and TCC staff for operations, timing development, troubleshooting, and future modifications.</p> </li> <li> <p>Coordinate drawing information with Synchro models so that lane geometry, approach configurations, signal phasing references, and intersection identifiers remain consistent between operational models and signal plans.</p> </li> <li> <p>Prepare signal phasing diagrams, detector layouts, cabinet/equipment schedules, pole and head identification, and other supporting plan information under engineering direction.</p> </li> <li> <p>Incorporate approved traffic signal timing, phasing, geometric, detector, and field-equipment changes into controlled drawing sets.</p> </li> <li> <p>Support development of corridor plan sets and location maps showing groups of intersections used for traffic signal management and progression studies.</p> </li> <li> <p>Conduct or support field verification activities to resolve discrepancies between legacy drawings, central-system records, and actual site conditions.</p> </li> <li> <p>Maintain drawing revision history, file naming, layer conventions, title-block information, document numbers, and issue status in accordance with project CADD and document-control standards.</p> </li> <li> <p>Perform drawing quality checks for completeness, legibility, dimensional consistency, symbols, references, layer use, and conformity with approved drafting standards.</p> </li> <li> <p>Coordinate with roadway and ITS designers where signal modifications interact with geometric improvements, communications infrastructure, detection, power, or other roadside systems.</p> </li> <li> <p>Produce clear PDF plots and editable CADD files suitable for engineering review, RCRC submission, field use, and final handover.</p> </li> <li> <p>Assist with preparation of sketches and exhibits for traffic improvement concepts, technical reports, presentations, and implementation packages.</p> </li> <li> <p>Organize and maintain the traffic signal drawing library so that engineers and TCC personnel can reliably retrieve the current approved or verified as-built plan for each intersection.</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> <b>What Required Skills You ll Bring:</b> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Diploma or associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting, CADD, Transportation Technology, or a closely related discipline.</p> </li> <li> <p>5+ years of CADD design/drafting experience on roadway, traffic signal, ITS, transportation, or civil infrastructure projects.</p> </li> <li> <p><br></p></li></ul>
