The role will be responsible for providing technical leadership, delivering engineering solutions, securing authority approvals, managing multidisciplinary coordination, and ensuring high-quality project delivery in accordance with local regulations and international standards. The Role
<p><strong>This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Senior Facade Engineer to join Cundall and support the construction-stage delivery of a large-scale hospitality project in Riyadh.</strong></p><br> <p>Based on site as part of our established engineering team, you will review contractor shop drawings, calculations, material submittals, method statements and RFIs, undertake inspections of facade works, monitor mock-ups, testing and installation quality, and verify compliance with the design intent, specifications and approved details.</p><br> <p>You will coordinate closely with the client, project manager, main contractor, specialist facade subcontractors and Cundall's multidisciplinary teams, proactively identifying technical and quality risks, resolving site issues, reporting progress and supporting the safe, timely delivery of the facade package.</p><br>
The Skills
<p>Educated to BEng degree level or equivalent in facade engineering, civil/structural engineering, architecture, architectural technology or a related discipline, you will have strong practical experience in facade engineering and construction-stage site delivery.</p><br> <p>You will have a sound technical understanding of facade systems, including stick curtain walling, aluminium and glass systems, metal and stone cladding, windows & doors, skylights, waterproofing, and critical interfaces with the primary structure and adjacent trades.</p><br> <p>Given the collaborative, client-facing and site-based nature of this role, excellent communication, clear technical reporting, practical problem-solving, and the ability to work confidently with contractors and multidisciplinary teams are essential.</p><br> <p>Key Requirements:</p><br>
<p>• Proven site-based facade engineering experience on major hospitality, mixed-use or complex building projects, ideally in KSA or the wider Gulf region.• Experience reviewing facade shop drawings, calculations, material submissions, method statements, ITPs, mock-ups and performance test documentation.• Ability to carry out site inspections, record and close observations, support RFI/NCR responses and track quality and compliance through installation.• Working knowledge of relevant KSA, GCC and international facade codes, standards and typical project specifications.• Able to work independently on site while collaborating effectively with clients, contractors, specialist subcontractors and multidisciplinary professionals.</p><br> <p>Job Description</p><br> <p>Your career at Cundall</p><br> <p><strong>We know that to be the best at what we do we need a diverse workforce underpinned by an inclusive culture.
