The Performance Management Specialist at First Gulf Company (FGC) is responsible for designing,implementing, and continuously improving the company's performance management framework across its 4,000+ workforce. Operating within the HR function, this role drives a high-performance culture by embedding KPI-based and Balanced Scorecard methodologies across FGC's three core divisions: Systems Integration, Construction & MEP, and Facility Management. The role is central to FGC's people strategy and its commitment to delivering excellence in support of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.<br>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<br>Performance Framework Design & Implementation• Design, implement, and continuously improve FGC's performance management framework using KPIs and the Balanced Scorecard methodology, ensuring alignment with organizational strategyacross all divisions.• Develop standardized performance templates, rating scales, and evaluation criteria that areconsistent, fair, and applicable across diverse roles, from field engineers to corporate functions.<br>Goal Setting & KPI Cascading• Lead the annual goal-setting cycle, working with department heads to cascade organizational KPIs down to team and individual levels in a meaningful and measurable way.• Coach managers and employees on writing SMART objectives and defining clear performanceindicators tied to business outcomes.<br>Performance Review Cycles• Manage end-to-end performance appraisal cycles, mid-year check-ins and annual reviews,ensuring timely completion, consistency of assessment, and calibration across business units.• Facilitate calibration sessions with HR Business Partners and senior leaders to ensure fair, bias free performance ratings across the organization.<br>Performance Analytics & Reporting• Analyze performance data to identify trends, flight risks, high performers, and capability gaps, and present actionable insights to HR leadership and business heads.• Maintain performance dashboards and produce regular reports on cycle completion rates, ratingdistributions, and year-on-year performance trends.<br>Capability Building & Manager Support• Design and deliver training for managers on conducting effective performance conversations,giving feedback and using the performance management system.• Act as a subject matter expert and point of contact for all performance-related queries from employees and managers across FGC's locations.<br>Integration with HR Processes• Partner with L&D on linking performance outcomes to individual development plans, trainingpriorities, and career pathways.• Collaborate with Compensation & Benefits to ensure performance ratings are accurately reflectedin reward, promotion, and Saudization (Nitaqat) decisions.<br>QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS<br>Education• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or arelated field.• Professional HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) is highly preferred; certification inperformance or OD frameworks is a strong plus.<br>Experience• Minimum 4–6 years of progressive HR experience with a focus on performance management,organizational effectiveness, or HR Business Partnering.• Demonstrated experience designing and running KPI-based or Balanced Scorecard performanceframeworks in a mid-to-large organization.• Prior exposure to technically diverse or project-driven workforces (construction, engineering,systems integration, or similar) is an advantage.
