<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles &amp; Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>Support the Facility Management function by assisting in FM Design Review, city planning, and Operational Strategy Implementation initiatives.</p><p>The trainee will help coordinate related activities, prepare digital dashboards and track the implementation of the operations strategy. <p>• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. • Manage and supervise the complete execution of 13.8 kV substation projects from mobilization to final handover. • Ensure compliance with SEC standards, specifications, approved drawings, and contractual requirements. • Supervise installation and commissioning of switchgear, transformers, protection and control systems, SCADA, communication systems, battery chargers, DC systems, grounding systems, and auxiliary equipment. • Coordinate and monitor civil works including foundations, cable trenches, duct banks, control buildings, equipment foundations, roads, drainage systems, and boundary walls. • Review and coordinate multidisciplinary drawings, technical submittals, method statements, and material approvals. • Liaise with SEC representatives, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to ensure smooth project execution. • Prepare progress reports, technical correspondence and Change requests.</p><p>• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in electrical substation projects, including SEC projects in Saudi Arabia. • Strong knowledge of SEC standards, specifications, approval procedures, and construction requirements. • Experience in protection systems, SCADA, control systems, testing, and commissioning activities. • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical, mechanical, civil, and structural drawings. • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project scheduling tools such as MS Project. • Availability within Saudi Arabia will be preferred. • Ready to Join max in 30 days.</p>

Key Responsibilities:<br>Fully understands the engineering scope of work for the project and monitors the engineering activity to ensure project requirements are met Coordinates internal and external engineering activities and the interdisciplinary interfaces in close coordination with the discipline engineers and/or contractors Ensures engineering requirements are properly incorporated in the engineering deliverables. Communicates with engineers, cost estimators, internal stakeholders, contractors etc. to define project performance requirements Coordinate and review engineering development, either in-house or external, to ensure clarity of scope of work and alignment of specifications and deliverables with engineering requirements Coordinates the creation of relevant document to support Project Stage deliverables up to the Final Investment Decision (FID) or from FID through to Project Close Out Responsible for the coordination of the project specific design reviews Accountable for developing the Project overall engineering plan Reports on the Project progress in relation to the engineering scope in terms of requirements, quality and schedule Identify gaps, provide analysis and develop options on impact to closing any project engineering requirements Supports the Project budgeting and forecasting process for the engineering disciplines Works closely with the QA/QC team to ensure engineering adherence to the Quality Assurance and Control program for conformance to the project requirements Supports the resolution of QA/QC non-conformities Support internal and external technical reviews Provide a liaison service between engineering, construction and commissioning Support, where appropriate, plant design and constructability reviews Support the creation of procurement and contracting strategies Support technical negotiations and bid technical evaluation for packages and other high value equipment Recommend improvements to departmental procedure and direct the implementation of instructions and controls covering a specific area of any project activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers. Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls within a defined area of project activity to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude. Supports the approval / rejection of change orders Works with commissioning authority to trouble shoot / resolve any critical engineering issues Supports periodic site reviews and attend site meetings as required during construction.<br>Minimum Qualification:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.<br>Minimum Experience:<br>7 years of engineering design / project experience in an Industrial Engineering, Construction or Process related industry.
