POSITION SUMMARYStaff Asset and Reliability Engineer is a high-level technical position foundational to the operation and maintenance of the facilities. NATURE & SCOPE<br>Staff Asset and Reliability Engineer drives improvements in asset performance, reliability, and lifecycle management. This role is key to ensuring our critical equipment and systems perform optimally while minimizing downtime and maximizing return on investment. This engineer combines deep technical expertise with strategic insight to deliver asset management and reliability engineering best practices, support maintenance strategies, and mentor junior engineers.<br>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<br>Asset Management:Lead asset lifecycle planning including acquisition, operation, maintenance, and disposal strategies. Develop and maintain the asset register and criticality rankings. Analyze asset performance data to identify trends, optimize performance, and extend asset life. Collaborate with finance and operations to develop capital and replacement plans.<br>Reliability Engineering:Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA/FMECA). Develop, review, and refine preventive and predictive maintenance strategies using RCM principles. Implement reliability improvement projects for critical assets and systems. Monitor and optimize key reliability metrics (MTBF, MTTR, asset availability, etc.).<br>Technical Leadership:Serve as SME (Subject Matter Expert) for condition monitoring, asset health, and reliability tools. This role manages the distinct high pressure and extreme flammability hazards of green hydrogen and the toxicity hazards of green ammonia among the process operating complexities of the plant. The role is responsible to lead all safety initiatives relative to the industrial processes on behalf of NGHC, facilitating the application of engineering principles for the design, construction, operation and maintenance on the NEOM Green Hydrogen Company, with the objective to develop, implement and maintain the Process Safety Management System for the company. The incumbent shall support all interface activities between all project contractors and NGHC as needed to support all Process Safety deliverables. NATURE & SCOPE<br>Lead and provide process safety services during the design and construction of all NEOM Green Hydrogen Company projects, including the remaining design and construction of the plant currently underway, ensuring that all related activities meet legal requirements and comply with project and industry safety standards. Provide expert process leadership and support for corporate business development initiatives. Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for hydrogen and ammonia safety chemistry, including embrittlement, cryogenic storage, and toxicity dispersion. This full-time position is central to reviewing and monitoring landscape and architectural works, ensuring strict compliance with approved designs and specifications across various projects. The role also focuses on coordinating diverse disciplines and facilitating seamless integration between infrastructure and superstructure construction efforts.</p><h3><strong>Core Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li>Review and monitor landscape and architectural works to ensure compliance with approved designs, IFC drawings, specifications, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), relevant codes, and client requirements.</li><li>Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress against approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.</li><li>Identify design clashes, constructability issues, and interface conflicts, and coordinate their effective resolution.</li><li>Participate in technical and coordination meetings with the Client, developers, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders.</li><li>Support the review of variations, change requests, quantities, and technical justifications related to landscape and architectural works.</li></ul><h3><strong>Project Oversight and Review</strong></h3><p>The Sr. Landscape Architect will be responsible for detailed oversight and review across several key areas:</p><ul><li>Review hardscape elements, including paving, kerbs, walkways, plazas, boundary treatments, landscape structures, street furniture, and public-realm components.</li><li>Supervise softscape works, encompassing planting, trees, shrubs, groundcovers, soil preparation, and associated landscape activities.</li><li>Coordinate and monitor irrigation systems and their interfaces with utilities, drainage, electrical, and broader infrastructure networks.</li><li>Review residential architectural works, focusing on external finishes, façades, entrances, boundary walls, architectural details, and their landscape interfaces.</li><li>Evaluate contractors' submissions, including shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, Requests for Information (RFIs), samples, mock-ups, and technical proposals.</li></ul><h3><strong>Interdisciplinary Coordination</strong></h3><p>A key aspect of this role involves fostering effective collaboration and integration across various project components:</p><ul><li>Coordinate landscape and architectural interfaces with civil, roads, utilities, drainage, structural, MEP, and other relevant disciplines.</li><li>Support the integration between infrastructure development and residential/superstructure construction to ensure cohesive project delivery.</li></ul><h3><strong>Monitoring and Documentation</strong></h3><ul><li>Monitor contractor progress, resource allocation, material usage, and identify potential delays or quality issues.</li><li>Review technical submissions and provide informed recommendations to PMC/Client management.</li><li>Participate in inspections, snagging, punch-list preparation, rectification processes, testing, and final handover procedures.</li><li>Maintain comprehensive technical records and contribute to weekly/monthly reports, progress monitoring, risk identification, and issue tracking.</li></ul><h3><strong>Candidate Requirements</strong></h3><p>Candidates for the <strong>Sr. Landscape Architect</strong> position must possess a minimum of <strong>15 years of relevant experience</strong> in landscape architecture and project oversight. A strong understanding of design compliance, construction monitoring, and interdisciplinary coordination is essential for success in this role.</p>
