<p>Responsible for maintaining and repairing all equipment, facilities, and utilities within the Al Fursan Airport Lounges. Oversee the installation of pressurized HDPE irrigation mainlines and lateral lines, including trench preparation, pipe bedding, thrust restraint, valve chambers and air-release assemblies. Monitor HDPE electrofusion and butt-fusion activities and verify welder qualifications, approved procedures, joint records and equipment calibration. Witness hydrostatic pressure, leakage, flushing and disinfection tests and verify results against approved acceptance criteria. Supervise clubhouse mechanical installations, including chillers, pumps, air-handling units, fan-coil units, ductwork, ventilation systems and controls. Inspect plumbing, water-supply, drainage, sanitary and stormwater installations for compliance with approved drawings and specifications. Supervise fire-protection installations, including fire pumps, sprinkler networks, hose reels, hydrants, valves and associated testing. Review and process mechanical Requests for Inspection and Work Inspection Requests and maintain accurate inspection, testing and quality-control records. Verify that delivered mechanical materials and equipment correspond with approved submittals, specifications, performance requirements and manufacturers recommendations. Coordinate mechanical installations with civil, structural, electrical, irrigation, landscape and architectural works and promptly resolve site-interface issues. Identify defective or nonconforming work, issue observations or nonconformance reports and verify completion of corrective actions. Witness HVAC Testing, Adjusting and Balancing, equipment start-up, pump-performance testing and other pre-commissioning activities. Support integrated mechanical commissioning, functional-performance testing, snagging, defect correction and final handover. Review contractor redline markups and support the verification of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, test certificates and mechanical closeout records.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited and recognized university. Minimum 10 years of site-based mechanical construction-supervision experience. Demonstrated experience working for an engineering supervision consultancy or project-management consultancy. Proven experience supervising pressurized water-transmission networks, pumping stations and large-diameter HDPE pipelines. Experience supervising commercial-building HVAC, plumbing, drainage and fire-protection systems. Practical knowledge of automated irrigation installations, TSE handling, filtration, fertigation and water-treatment systems. Experience inspecting electrofusion and butt-fusion joints and witnessing hydrostatic pressure testing. Strong understanding of mechanical inspection procedures, approved material verification and nonconformance management. Experience witnessing TAB, equipment start-up and mechanical pre-commissioning activities. <p>A major oil and gas service company is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician / Mechanic to support their WLES (Open Hole) operations in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing and repair of mechanical equipment used in wireline operations, ensuring all equipment is safe, reliable and operationally ready.</p><p><b>Duties & Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Carry out inspection, maintenance, servicing and repair of WLES/Open Hole equipment.</li><li>Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults and equipment issues.</li><li>Prepare and maintain equipment for field operations and ensure it meets operational and safety requirements.</li><li>Support workshop and field-based maintenance activities as required.</li><li>Complete maintenance records, inspections and relevant documentation.</li><li>Work closely with field and maintenance teams to ensure equipment availability and reliability.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Previous experience as a Mechanical Technician, Mechanic or Maintenance Technician within the oil and gas industry. Role Description This full-time, on-site GSE Technician role is based major station inside the kingdom and focuses on mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and general electrician work on Ground Support Equipment. Day-to-day tasks include conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults, calibrating equipment, and carrying out load tests as required.
