This includes working across field and central-system interfaces, reviewing technical submissions, and verifying that ITS devices, communications, cabinets, power, software interfaces, and supporting infrastructure meet project requirements, applicable standards, and RCRC operational needs.</p><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li>Prepare and review technical specifications, design criteria, drawings, schedules, and equipment requirements for ITS systems and associated infrastructure.</li><li>Review contractor and consultant design submissions for compliance with approved requirements, system architecture, specifications, standards, constructability, and operational needs.</li><li>Support design and implementation of CCTV, vehicle detection, radar, video analytics, DMS/VMS, communications, field cabinets, power systems, environmental monitoring, and traveler information.</li><li>Review system architecture, interface-control information, network diagrams, device layouts, communications designs, power requirements, and equipment schedules.</li><li>Participate in site investigations to verify existing conditions, communications availability, utility constraints, equipment locations, cabinet space, power, visibility, access, and constructability.</li><li>Support preparation of technical comments, review matrices, non-conformance records, site observations, and engineering recommendations.</li><li>Monitor ITS construction and installation activities to verify field implementation consistency with approved design documents and manufacturer requirements.</li><li>Coordinate technical interfaces between ITS field equipment, traffic signals, communications networks, ATMS/iNET platforms, TCC systems, and external stakeholders.</li><li>Review material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, installation details, test procedures, and commissioning documentation.</li><li>Participate in factory acceptance tests, site acceptance tests, integration testing, commissioning, and operational-readiness activities.</li><li>Support troubleshooting of field and integration issues during construction, testing, and early operations.</li><li>Verify as-built documentation, equipment inventories, configuration records, test results, and handover material prior to system acceptance.</li><li>Contribute to ITS guidelines, specifications, O&amp;M procedures, implementation frameworks, and technical assessment reports prepared for RCRC.</li><li>Coordinate with roadway, traffic signal, communications, cybersecurity, electrical, civil, and TCC operations specialists to resolve multidisciplinary interface issues.</li><li>Maintain awareness of emerging ITS technologies and provide practical recommendations for scalable, interoperable, and maintainable deployments in Riyadh.</li></ul><h3><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></h3><p>Candidates should possess 7+ years of experience in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) engineering or a related field.
