Decontamination: Receives, sorts, and inspects used surgical instruments and medical equipment for decontamination. Manually cleans instruments using appropriate detergents and disinfectants. Operates and maintains decontamination equipment such as ultrasonic cleaners, washers, and disinfectors.</p><p>2. Preparation and Packaging: Assembles surgical instrument sets and medical equipment according to established protocols. Packages instruments and supplies in preparation for sterilization, ensuring proper wrapping, labeling, and documentation.
