As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising steel structure projects from fabrication through erection, ensuring quality, safety, and timely project execution while coordinating with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:• Prepare and review shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings for steel structures• Coordinate with the design team, consultants, and clients for drawing approvals and technical clarifications• Plan and execute steel structure erection activities according to project schedules and approved method statements• Supervise site execution of steel fabrication, erection, bolting, and welding works• Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and structural stability during erection activities• Monitor lifting operations, including crane activities and rigging plans• Inspect structural steel components such as beams, columns, trusses, bracing, and connections before installation• Verify material compliance with approved specifications and mill certificates• Coordinate with the fabrication yard to ensure timely production and delivery of steel members• Track material dispatch, site receipt, and erection sequencing• Ensure welding activities comply with approved WPS (Welding Procedure Specification) and QA/QC requirements• Coordinate NDT inspections including UT, MT, and RT where applicable• Conduct inspections for bolt tightening, torque verification, and structural connections• Ensure compliance with project specifications, AISC, BS, ASTM standards, and applicable Saudi codes• Monitor site progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports• Identify project delays, resolve site issues, and implement recovery plans with the project team• Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure quality and safety compliance throughout project execution• Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with lifting and working-at-height safety procedures• Manage subcontractors, site manpower, and steel erection activities efficiently• Attend meetings with clients, consultants, and project management teams to discuss progress and technical matters• Maintain project documentation including inspection reports, RFIs, as-built drawings, and erection records<br><br>????
