The goal for this position is to provide senior level input to the bid process and provide clients with clearly differentiated proposals that demonstrate why they should work with Turner & Townsend. Responsibilities  <ul><li>Write/edit non-technical and edit technical bespoke content working with the bid teams to ensure timely completion</li><li>Facilitate bid Kick Off, Win Theme and Storyboard sessions with bid team</li><li>Proactively manage the bid and review process while ensuring all contributors understand expectations for content and timelines</li><li>Incorporate local knowledge, evidence/research and adhere to writing style/branding</li><li>Ensure submissions are targeted to their audience, consisting of an evidence base and innovative approaches as advised by experts across the organisation and best practice</li><li>Advise bid lead on relevant added value options to strengthen bid response</li><li>Review and amend draft bid considering feedback from peers and Directors</li><li>Customise pen profiles and CV content to better position our proposed team</li><li>Briefing graphic designers to create visually appealing graphics to communicate complex information and concepts in an impactful way</li><li>Following submission of bid, extract key information from tender to improve best practice collateral </li><li>Support in delivery of best practice training on bid process, management and writing</li><li>Contribute to board reporting on pipeline, conversion, and lessons learnt</li><li>Pipeline management – working with the Head of Middle East Real Estate and Major Programmes to monitor and proactively manage opportunity pipeline and advise on focus areas.</li></ul>Skills and behaviours required  <ul><li>Proactive, clear and professional communication with internal and external stakeholders at all levels</li><li>Ability to continuously manage own workload, plan ahead for future submissions and/or presentations, and know when assistance from wider BG team is required</li><li>Ability to contribute to bid/pursuit strategy and influence senior technical and commercial leaders including challenging/questioning thinking or strategy when necessary to add value to the process</li><li>Strong writing and editing ability in English including:</li><li>Critically assessing existing content and editing to be more concise and persuasive, harmonising tone of voice and ensuring consistency of language and terminology</li><li>Writing original non-technical content for Executive Summaries and other sections</li><li>Proof reading skills with a keen eye for accuracy and detail</li><li>Critical thinking skills to consistently develop, manage and deliver high quality bids and content on time</li></ul> Qualifications <ul><li>15+ years’ experience across bidding and business development in the professional services sector, ideally with PMC services in the built environment, and preferably with some of that experience in the Middle East</li><li>Relevant degree in an Engineering discipline or Business, etc (list not exhaustive)</li><li>Expertise in MS Office suite, skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint (required) and a design-based software such as InDesign (preferred)</li><li>APMP Foundation level certification is advantageous but not essential </li><li>Professional membership of a recognised institution (desired).</li></ul> Additional Information Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
