The role is accountable for developing and maintaining robust measurement strategies using body measurement systems, closures measurement, dimensional analysis, scanbox measurement and analysis, and quality investigation support.<br><br>This position converts measurement data into actionable insights for Manufacturing and Quality teams, enabling timely process adjustment, containment decisions, launch readiness, and continuous improvement in dimensional quality.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Lead day-to-day metrology activities for stamping, body, and closures measurement, dimensional integrity, and analysis for body-in-white and stamping. Manage the E-cube measurement process and activities including results reviews, e-cube maintenance and preservation. Define metrology priorities, resource allocation, measurement schedules, escalation routines, and deliverables aligned with production and launch needs. Establish standard operating practices for measurement planning, data integrity, equipment usage, master samples, and reporting discipline. Manage dimensional measurement strategies for BIW, stamping panels, closures, sub-assemblies, and key product characteristics. Lead scanbox measurement, structured dimensional analysis, trend monitoring, correlation studies, and variation reduction activities. Interpret dimensional results, identify patterns, assess process capability, and translate findings into clear technical recommendations. Provide timely, data-driven feedback to Manufacturing, Stamping, Body, Closures, Quality Engineering, and process teams to support process adjustments. Drive closed-loop problem solving by linking measurement outputs to root cause analysis, tooling adjustments, fixture alignment, process settings, and containment actions. Support launch, ramp-up, and daily production through escalation of dimensional risks and verification of corrective action effectiveness. Provide measurement expertise for quality analysis investigations, customer/product audit findings, nonconformance reviews, and dimensional quality issues. Lead measurement system analysis, correlation, repeatability and reproducibility activities where required to confirm data reliability. Develop dashboards, reports, and technical summaries that communicate dimensional performance, emerging risks, and improvement actions to leadership. Build, coach, and develop a high-performing metrology team with clear standards for safety, accuracy, urgency, and accountability. Ensure metrology equipment, scanbox systems, fixtures, gauges, calibration controls, and measurement programs are maintained and audit ready. Partner cross-functionally to standardize methods, measurement cycle time, and strengthen dimensional Quality control across AMP-2 operations.<br><br>Skills<br><br>Expertise in automotive dimensional engineering, including BIW, stamping, closures, assemblies, tooling, fixtures, and measurement systems. Strong technical knowledge of scanbox/optical measurement systems, metrology principles, CMMs, dimensional analysis, and reporting. Proven ability to drive manufacturing improvements through data-driven analysis, root cause investigation, process validation, and corrective actions. Effective Leader with experience building high-performing teams, coaching engineers and technicians, and establishing operational standards. Strong cross-functional collaboration, communication, attention to detail, and ability to perform under production and launch pressures.<br><br>Minimum Qualifications<br><br>Bachelor is required in Engineering required; Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Quality, or related discipline preferred. Master’s degree is a plus.10+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing with a minimum of 7 years within OEM.5+ years of leadership experience. Strong background in Metrology and dimensional as well as problem solving, and cross-functional coordination. <p><strong>Job Summary:</strong> Driller supervises the drill crew and runs the entire drilling operations activities to achieve the requirements of the operator s Drilling / Work-Over program while safely using to best effect machinery, equipment, and manpower. Operates drilling controls and drilling package, monitors drilling parameters and takes actions in well control situations. Driller diagnoses and reports down-hole problems and implements corrective measures. Enforce ADES safety procedures taking appropriate measures, ensure timely maintenance of drilling equipment & prepare activity reports to ensure that the drilling unit, machinery, equipment, and other resources are effectively operated to optimize the company's site operations considering the safety of personnel, the environment, and equipment to maximize drilling operation efficiency.</p><p><strong>Roles & Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><strong>Rig Operations:</strong> Manages the drilling operation, operates, controls the drilling equipment, and ensures that drilling activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations and company policies. Supervises and directs the drilling crew and provides guidance, assigns tasks, and monitors performance to ensure the smooth execution of drilling activities. Monitors drilling parameters, adjusts equipment settings and troubleshoots issues to perfect drilling performance. Reports drilling progress, well conditions, safety incidents, and any deviations from drilling plans to Toolpusher /OIM and Client representative onboard and other relevant parties. Ensures any deviation from client well plan is approved by Toolpusher, OIM and Client representative. Monitors third party operations on the drill floor and other drilling related areas. Ensuring 3rd party personnel and sub-contractors use safe work methods. Collaborates with Well planners, engineers, and other team members to develop drilling plans and strategies. Maintains accurate records including drilling reports, equipment logs, safety records, tubular run in the hole including pipe tally, full BHA/completion components and critical fishing dimensions and drilling parameters. Fill up a daily drilling report for the activities performed during his shift & update the pipe tally book and draft dimensioned drawings of the equipment run in the well to describe the work conducted. Utilize drilling control equipment, monitor gauges and auxiliary tools, and promptly notify the tool pusher and client representative of necessary actions to address potential issues such as, but not limited to, stuck pipe, flow back, and hydraulics. Ensure the hole is drilled using good oilfield practice to the required depth, with adequate well control contingency in place. Monitor for any down hole irregularities such as kicks, pressure fluctuations, and abnormal torque. Take immediate action to secure the well in the event of a well control incident and promptly inform the Toolpusher and client representative. Instruct subordinates to diligently monitor the pipe string for any irregularities during the process of pulling out of the hole. Take charge of BOP installation including installations of auxiliary equipment such as hoses, guide wire, etc. Pressure test Well Control Equipment as per Company and Regulatory requirement to ensure readiness and effectiveness in critical situations. Monitor and control the mud activities to maintain proper mud volume, weight and properties.</p><p><strong>Equipment:</strong> Report machinery and equipment deficiencies requiring repair or replacement to the supervisor. Coordinate with maintenance personnel to ensure execution of maintenance and repair works. Organize and oversee routine maintenance and repair of drilling equipment. Conducting weekly checks on the derrick and substructure. Perform daily visual inspections on various equipment in area of responsibility per Rigs daily check forms. Provide instructions to the drilling team for the repair and maintenance of drilling equipment as per the planned maintenance system.</p><p><strong>Working at Heights:</strong> Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as per Company procedure. Assesses risks and hazards before performing tasks at elevated locations, considering factors such as stability, weather conditions, and potential fall hazards. Inspects and ensures the proper functioning of height-related equipment, such as scaffolding, ladders, and safety lines, prior to use. Be knowledgeable about fall protection systems, including their setup, proper usage, and limitations. Effectively communicates identified hazards and safety concerns to the team, promoting a proactive safety culture.</p><p><strong>Housekeeping:</strong> Instruct subordinates to maintain a clean and hazard-free work area before and after completing tasks or repairs. Enforce ADES waste management policies.
