Overview A Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing and executing procurement activities to ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services at the required quality and the most cost-effective prices. The role involves sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating pricing and contract terms, managing purchase orders, and monitoring the procurement process while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures to achieve operational efficiency and cost savings.
