<p >The Director of Prepare and Support Services provides strategic leadership and executive oversight across all functions under RSFR in terms of providing all required resources. He leads the department’s finance and accounting functions, ensuring the department is operating as per the allocated budget and plans. This role ensures organizational resilience, legislative compliance, and continuous improvement in line with national and international standards. The Director acts as a principal advisor to senior leadership on fire studies, public safety communication, hazardous materials management, and emergency preparedness while driving the long-term strategy for fire and rescue services. Under the theme “Foresight for Tomorrow,” the Expo promotes sustainable development, innovation, and transformative thinking. The event will be held from October 2030 to March 2031 and is expected to welcome over 40 million visits. The 6 km² Masterplan outlines a comprehensive framework for participation and infrastructure at the Expo.<br><br>The exhibition space, totaling 491,100 m² GFA, can accommodate up to 197 participating countries and 29 international organizations. Working collaboratively with our customer, Expo 2030 Riyadh Company (ERC), Bechtel will manage the infrastructure program which comprises early works, utilities, and publicly accessible spaces like streets and parks. Our scope on the six-square-kilometer site will transition into a mixed-use legacy development to serve the community after the six-month event is over. The project’s master plan leverages international sustainability standards for urban afforestation, treated water, and energy sources.<br><br>Job Summary<br><br>In this role, you will manage the planning, design review, coordination, integration, and stakeholder management of mobility-related infrastructure packages including roads, highways, junctions, streetscapes, parking facilities, Park & Ride infrastructure, pedestrian networks, cycling infrastructure, transport-related utilities interfaces, and supporting civil works. You will coordinate with multiple consultants and stakeholders to ensure that infrastructure designs are integrated, constructible, compliant with project requirements, and aligned with programme objectives.<br><br>Your technical guidance and recommendations will ensure infrastructure designs meet project requirements and remain within scope, schedule, and budget.<br><br>Major Responsibilities<br><br>Reports to the Engineering Manager – Mobility & Civil Infrastructure. Managing multidisciplinary consultants responsible for roads, highways, parking facilities, transport infrastructure, pedestrian environments, cycling facilities, and supporting civil works. Coordinating infrastructure design activities with planning, architecture, landscape, utilities, structures, operations, logistics, security, and adjacent development packages.
