Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair faults in PLC, SCADA, HMI, RTU, VFD, and field instrumentation systems. Calibrate, test, install, and commission field instruments, including pressure, flow, level, temperature, and analytical instruments. Ensure the reliable and efficient operation of automation and control systems in wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs), pumping stations, and lift stations. Monitor control system performance and identify opportunities to improve system reliability and reduce downtime. Read and interpret P&IDs, electrical drawings, loop diagrams, control logic, and technical documentation to perform maintenance activities. Conduct routine inspections and functional testing of instrumentation and control equipment. Maintain accurate maintenance records, calibration certificates, and work reports in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to plan and execute maintenance activities with minimal disruption to plant operations. Assist in the installation, modification, and upgrading of instrumentation and control systems. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and applicable industry standards during all maintenance activities. Support emergency breakdown response and participate in on-call maintenance activities when required. Identify spare parts requirements and report equipment defects or recurring failures to supervisors. Participate in system testing, commissioning, and performance verification following maintenance or project activities. Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure tools, instruments, and test equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
