JOB PURPOSE / ROLE:To guide and control the secure and effective operation of the Bank’s for Data Center ACI, Firewall, IPS, LTM, WAF, GTM, Wireless, Proxy and NAC through its continuous monitoring, problem solving and upgrade, in order to provide maximum performance and availability for the system users and support effective business operations.<br>AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY<br>Policies, Processes & Procedures Implements approved departmental policies, processes, procedures and provides instructions to subordinates and monitors their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner<br>Day- to-day operations Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for the Product Development function to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures. Problem-solving and analytical abilities.<br>Network Operations Management Guides the analysis of the of Banking business growth, the current BT infrastructure and the BT development plans, so as to identify the requirements of the network infrastructure Directs the analysis of the current BT infrastructure and identifies, the improvements, investments, developments and configurations that need to be implemented, in order to respond to business needs and requirements . Guides the design of the network’s infrastructure characteristics and requirements, and develops analytical plans, technical requirements, in order to enable the development of the BT infrastructure according to business needs. Directs the Network Engineers and Technicians for the accurate implementation of the network’s projects and development plans, as well as searches the market to identify and propose the most suitable service provider that meet the requirements of the Bank and assist in the development of the required infrastructure Implements best monitoring processes and systems for better and more effective and proactive network monitoring. Guides the Network monitoring results identifying the efficiency of the Data Center ACI, Firewall, IPS, LTM, WAF, GTM, Wireless, Proxy and NAC network to ensures the accurate, continuous and preventive maintenance, so as to assess the health of the network and enable the 24/7 internal and external connectivity of all employees and banking operations. Analyses the network malfunctions reported and guides the accurate and timely problem solving, so as to enable the connectivity and efficient operation of the network . Reviews and approves the change request in network with the BT infrastructure and guides the Integrate, NMS, Ensure high quality of services and with company requests. Keeps abreast of market trends and technical / technological improvements so as to identify and propose solutions that will add value and support the accurate operation of the Bank’s network.<br>Continuous Improvement Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.<br>Reporting Prepares departmental reports of Riyad Bank timely and accurately to meet the bank and department requirements, policies and standards.<br>People Management Ensures all staff have clear objectives, regular performance feedback sessions, formal annual appraisals, and individual development plans, with particular emphasis on the development of talented Saudi national staff. About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented Network Engineer with hands-on experience in switching technologies to join our IT Infrastructure team.
