<p>We are conducting a search on behalf of major Oilfield Service Company for an experienced <strong>Well Placement Engineer – </strong>to support the delivery, adoption and commercial growth of geosteering technology across Oman and Saudi Arabia.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Role Overview:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>This is a dual technical and commercial role for a well placement professional who can advise rig and customer teams in real time, while also helping to introduce and grow the company’s geosteering technology in the market.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Provide technical support and guidance on real-time well placement and geosteering activities</li><li>Work closely with rig-site and customer teams to deliver effective well placement solutions</li><li>Act as the technical focal point for geosteering technology across the assigned region</li><li>Support the implementation, integration and adoption of the technology across customer operations</li><li>Advise customers on well trajectory, reservoir navigation and real-time drilling data interpretation</li><li>Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to expand technology deployment</li><li>Deliver technical presentations and support client meetings, opportunity development and business development activity</li><li>Collaborate with internal product, technical and commercial teams to ensure solutions meet market needs</li><li>Support the ongoing development of the regional well placement offering</li><li>Progress into mentoring, developing and leading a small team of Well Placement Engineers as the business expands</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geoscience or a related technical discipline is preferred</li><li>Minimum <strong>12 years’ relevant experience</strong> within Oil &amp; Gas / Oilfield Services</li><li>Strong experience in <strong>Well Placement, Geosteering and Directional Drilling operations</strong></li><li>Strong understanding of well trajectory planning, reservoir navigation and real-time drilling/geological data</li><li>Experience with major Oilfield Services companies is highly preferred;</li><li>Proven experience working directly with customers, drilling teams and operational stakeholders</li><li>Experience in a commercial, client-development or technology-promotion capacity is highly desirable</li><li>Open to established Domain Champions or senior Well Placement Engineers with the ambition to move into a leadership role</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Strong technical understanding of geosteering and well placement workflows</li><li>Confident customer-facing and presentation skills</li><li>Commercial mindset, with the ability to identify and develop business opportunities</li><li>Strong stakeholder-management and relationship-building capability</li><li>Ability to work independently in a dynamic, field-focused environment</li><li>Leadership potential and willingness to build a team over time</li><li>Arabic language skills are advantageous but not essential</li><li>Willingness to travel regionally and internationally when required</li></ul><p><br></p>

The role ensures that all landscape activities comply with approved designs, specifications, environmental regulations, and local authority standards. It includes leading design reviews, shop drawing reviews, material approvals, and site supervision, while coordinating with contractors and inspectors to achieve project objectives and sustainability requirements.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Review, evaluate, and provide comments on landscape design drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals, particularly for road and highway-related works.</li><li>Supervise and monitor on-site landscape activities including planting, irrigation systems, soil improvement, hardscape, and streetscape works.</li><li>Lead and manage landscape site activities, ensuring proper coordination with contractors, inspectors, and other disciplines.</li><li>Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, environmental regulations, and municipal / authority requirements.</li><li>Oversee material inspections, testing, mock-ups, and approvals related to landscape components.</li><li>Verify the implementation of approved construction methods and adherence to quality control and HSE procedures.</li><li>Review and respond to contractor correspondences, RFIs, method statements, and technical submittals.</li><li>Coordinate with PMC, construction supervision teams, and contractors to resolve technical and site-related issues.</li><li>Ensure sustainability measures are implemented and that existing trees, vegetation, and environmental assets are protected throughout construction.</li><li>Provide technical guidance and oversight to landscape inspectors and junior staff on site.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture.</li><li>Minimum of <strong>15 years</strong> of relevant experience.</li><li>Proven experience in road and highway infrastructure projects.</li><li>Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, planting techniques, and sustainable landscaping practices.</li><li>Familiarity with Saudi Arabian municipal and environmental regulations.</li><li>Excellent coordination, reporting, and communication skills.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>We kindly request you to attach your updated CV to complete your application.</strong></p><p><br></p>
