Displays knowledge and abilities to evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to meet basic engineering and construction specifications. Displays applications of sound professional judgment on details of work. Independently performs walk-downs and inspections of installed commodities to assure conformance with specifications and design. Performs quantity surveys for tracking and reporting. Program Development & Implementation<br>Design and roll out a site-wide biosecurity management framework tailored to nursery and greenhouse operations. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for plant health threats, pest entry points, and operational vulnerabilities. Establish and maintain clear operating procedures for plant movement, sanitation, propagation, and waste handling. Monitoring & Compliance<br>Set up inspection and monitoring schedules for plant health, hygiene, and pest management. Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and traceability systems for plant material, suppliers, and sanitation activities. Training & Awareness<br>Develop and deliver training programs for staff on plant health, biosecurity, hygiene, and traceability. Minimum 10 years’ experience in a nursery, greenhouse, or horticultural production environment. Pest and Disease Management Experience: The ability to accurately identify, monitor, and manage various plant pests, diseases, and weeds is crucial. This includes knowledge of different control methods (organic, biological, and chemical) and the principles of Integrated Pest Management (IPM). Biosecurity Protocols & Hygiene Experience: A deep understanding and strict adherence to nursery hygiene practices and biosecurity protocols Experience implementing: management systems or procedural frameworks (quality, safety, or environmental). About the Role We are seeking a skilled Low Current / ELV Technician to perform installation, testing, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and corrective maintenance activities for Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) and low-current systems within building facilities and Operations & Maintenance environments. Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and identify potential system failures before they affect operations. Perform corrective maintenance and replace defective devices, components, cables, and accessories as required. Verify system functionality after installation, repair, or maintenance activities. Maintain proper labeling, routing, termination, and organization of ELV cables and equipment. Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other maintenance teams when troubleshooting system-related issues. Record completed maintenance activities, identified faults, spare parts used, and required follow-up actions. Follow site safety procedures, permit requirements, PPE requirements, and manufacturer recommendations. Maintain tools, testing equipment, and work areas in safe and good working condition. Respond to assigned maintenance requests and emergency faults within the required response time.
