Execute the regional finance strategy aligned with the Group's objectives. Ensure strong financial governance and compliance with corporate policies and local regulatory requirements. Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and operational efficiency. Financial Planning & Analysis Prepare monthly management reporting for the entities in UAE and KSA. Analyze financial performance and provide actionable recommendations to Management. Develop annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans. Perform monthly budget variance analysis and monitor key financial indicators. Produce financial models and business cases to support strategic decision-making. Establish and monitor key financial and operational KPIs. Conduct ad hoc financial analyses for executive management. Business Partnering Serve as the finance business Partner to the CEO UAE & KSA. Support operational leaders in maximizing profitability, improving resource utilization, and managing financial risks. Provide financial guidance on commercial decisions, pricing, profitability, workforce planning, and organizational initiatives. Challenge assumptions and proactively identify opportunities to improve financial performance. Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop the UAE and KSA finance organization. Direct and oversee the following teams: Billing, Payroll and Accounting. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development. Establish clear objectives and performance expectations for all finance team members. Accounting, Controls, Treasury & Compliance Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements. Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital. Maintain strong internal controls and risk management processes. Coordinate internal and external audits. Ensure compliance with tax, payroll, labor, transfer pricing and statutory reporting requirements in UAE and KSA. Operational Excellence Drive finance transformation initiatives and continuous process improvements. Participate in the deployment and optimization of the Group's financial systems and digital tools. Standardize financial processes across the region while respecting local regulatory requirements. Support acquisitions, integrations, and organizational growth initiatives as required. Stakeholder Management Act as the primary liaison between the UAE and KSA finance organization and the International Finance Department. Collaborate closely with regional and global leadership teams. Build strong relationships with external auditors, banking partners, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders.<br><br>The above responsibilities are not intended to be exhaustive and may evolve based on business needs.<br><br>Qualifications<br><br> Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field. A master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is considered an asset. Professional accounting designation such as CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA, or equivalent is strongly preferred. SOCPA membership/qualification is considered an asset for candidates with significant Saudi Arabia responsibilities. Candidates without a professional designation may be considered if they have strong relevant experience and demonstrated technical accounting expertise. 7-10 years of progressive finance experience, including experience in a senior leadership role. Experience managing multidisciplinary finance teams. Experience in a professional services, consulting, engineering, or technology environment is considered a strong asset. Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis, accounting, budgeting, internal controls, and financial reporting. Experience working within an international or multi-entity organization is highly desirable. Finance Manager will play a key role in managing day-to-day financial operations, budgeting, cost control, financial reporting, cash flow management, audit coordination, and financial analysis, while providing management with accurate and timely information to support business decisions.<br>Key Responsibilities1. Daily Financial Operations Oversee the company's day-to-day accounting and finance operations. Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, expenses, payroll, inventory, receivables, payables, and cash transactions. Supervise accounts payable and receivable activities and ensure timely processing and reconciliation. Monitor daily cash positions, bank balances, collections, and payments. Review and approve financial transactions in accordance with company policies and approval authorities. Ensure proper documentation and supporting documents for all financial transactions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and financial ledgers. Monitor bank reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies. Ensure proper accounting treatment for agricultural activities, inventory, production, and fixed assets.<br>2. Budgeting & Financial Planning Lead the preparation of the annual operating budget and financial plan in coordination with management and department heads. Prepare budgets covering farming operations, production, processing, packaging, sales, logistics, manpower, capital expenditure, and administrative expenses. Establish departmental budgets and monitor actual performance against approved budgets. Prepare monthly budget-versus-actual analysis and identify significant variances. Investigate the reasons behind budget deviations and recommend corrective actions. Support management in preparing financial forecasts and business plans. Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts to ensure sufficient liquidity<br>3. Cost Control & Cost Accounting Establish and maintain an effective cost-control system across farming, production, processing, packaging, storage, and distribution activities. Monitor the cost of cultivation, irrigation, fertilizers, pesticides, labor, harvesting, transportation, processing, packaging, storage, and other operational expenses. Calculate and monitor the cost per hectare, cost per tree, cost per kilogram/ton, and cost per production unit, where applicable. Analyze production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency. Monitor inventory consumption, wastage, spoilage, and production losses. Review the cost of packaging materials and other production inputs. Analyze product profitability and gross margins by date variety, product category, customer, market, or sales channel. Work closely with Operations and Procurement to control purchasing costs and prevent unnecessary expenditure. Monitor actual production costs against standard/budgeted costs and investigate variances<br>4. Financial Reporting Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management. Prepare and review:Profit & Loss statements Balance Sheet Cash Flow Statement Trial Balance Accounts Receivable and Payable reports Inventory reports Budget vs. Actual reports Cost and profitability analysis Working capital reports Provide management with financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions. Inventory & Agricultural Accounting Oversee the financial accounting and control of agricultural and finished-goods inventories. Ensure proper recording and reconciliation of:Fresh dates Dried dates Processed dates Finished products Packaging materials Agricultural supplies Spare parts and other operational inventory Conduct regular inventory reconciliations and coordinate physical stock counts. Monitor inventory movements from farm → harvesting → processing → packaging → warehouse → sales. Identify and investigate inventory shortages, wastage, damage, and discrepancies. Ensure proper valuation and accounting treatment of inventory.<br>6. Internal Controls Develop, implement, and continuously improve financial policies, procedures, and internal controls. Ensure appropriate segregation of duties and authorization controls. Identify financial and operational risks and recommend mitigation measures. Monitor compliance with company policies and approved financial procedures. Review internal processes to minimize errors, fraud, financial leakage, and unnecessary costs. Ensure proper controls over cash, inventory, purchases, payments, receivables, and fixed assets.<br>7. Audit & Compliance Coordinate and manage the company's annual external audit process. Prepare financial schedules, supporting documents, reconciliations, and information required by auditors. Act as the primary finance contact for external auditors. Follow up on audit findings and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions. Support internal audits and financial reviews when required. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and other relevant Saudi regulations. Ensure proper maintenance of financial records and supporting documentation.<br>8. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management Monitor daily and projected cash flow requirements. Manage working capital and optimize the company's cash conversion cycle. Monitor customer collections and overdue receivables. Establish appropriate follow-up procedures for outstanding customer balances. Monitor supplier payments and payment schedules. Prepare short-, medium-, and long-term cash flow forecasts. Provide management with early warnings regarding potential liquidity issues.<br>9. Management Support & Business Analysis Provide management with accurate financial information to support strategic and operational decisions. Evaluate the financial impact of new projects, investments, customers, products, and markets. Prepare financial models and feasibility analysis when required. Support management in evaluating pricing, margins, production costs, export costs, and market profitability. Provide recommendations for improving profitability and financial performance. Work closely with the General Manager, Operations, Sales, Procurement, HR, and other departments.<br>Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is highly preferred.15+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, preferably including experience in agriculture, crop production Experience in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, Senior Finance Manager, or equivalent position. Strong experience in budgeting, cost control, financial reporting, auditing, cash flow, and financial analysis. Experience with inventory and production costing is highly desirable. Experience in agricultural accounting or the dates/food industry would be a strong advantage. Good knowledge of Saudi accounting, tax, VAT, ZATCA, and regulatory requirements. Strong ERP/accounting system experience; familiarity with systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar is preferred. Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills. LTD (HAACO), which holds a 20% share.<br>REPORTS TO: Plant General Manager<br>JOB PURPOSE:Maintenance Manager being Head of maintenance organization structure is responsible for the efficient and reliable maintenance of the plant ensuring all safety regulation, maintenance procedures and company polices are followed.<br>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Strategy & Plans:Develop the Maintenance-departmental strategy in line with the Plant’s strategy to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing departmental strategies across. Regularly report to the Plant General Manager on the operational activities of department, challenges and issues faced, mitigations taken, etc. as required, to keep them informed and updated on the division’s activities. Budget Management:Contribute to the preparation of the Maintenance department’s budget and manage and monitor the financial performance against the budget so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalised upon. Maintenance Planning:Lead and manage the planning of preventive, corrective and condition-based maintenance plans / work schedules (including annual and long-term maintenance plans) for all types of maintenance (Electrical, Mechanical and I&C) across the facilities in the plant ensuring that maintenance jobs are carried out timely, efficiently and cost effective with adherence to HSE standards. Lead the effective cascading of the maintenance strategy into work instructions and SOPs for each equipment and process in all areas of mechanical, electrical, instrumental, controls and systems and ensure their implementation by employees and contract staff, to ensure safe and timely maintenance of equipment. Maintenance Management:Lead the effective implementation of approved plans in liaison with the discipline engineers and operations team across all the assets and equipment within set timelines and budget to facilitate uninterrupted operations. Oversee the equipment risk assessment process in order to facilitate proactive identification of anomalies and ensure optimum risk mitigation in accordance with best practices. Manage the timely response to all emergency breakdowns and provide prompt corrective action to ensure plant availability, thereby minimizing downtime and possibility of liquidity damages. Oversee the maintenance documentation process in SAP ensuring it is completed correctly including filling in the log, outlining the fault, method of repair and the time, labour and materials used to support timely availability of information. Review the daily maintenance / condition monitoring reports and submit periodic reports to the management, keeping them informed of all technical problems, if any, as well as recent changes or modifications on existing work plant or schedule. Lead the Maintenance management meetings so that the entire team is clear on the standards required and the maintenance programs that are underway. In the Project Phase: Coordinate with the EPC representatives on site to understand the critical equipment installation etc., and undertake the Commissioning Monitoring, Acceptance Test Campaign and “As-build” documentation activities, to ensure required transfer of knowledge. Outage Management:Together with the Planning Engineer, lead the effective forecasting of manpower and material requirements to ensure timely availability of resources and spares for effective execution of maintenance plans. Lead the planning and execution of the annual outage maintenance of critical equipment, as per the recommendation of the OEM, and provide technical guidance and support to ensure the EHS, scope, cost, and timeline objectives are met. Technical Guidance:Act as a technical expert to ensure that all modifications to the maintenance procedures and work instructions are correctly designed and implemented as per the recommendations of the OEMs in order to best optimize maintenance operations according to the availability of equipment and workforce. Lead the development of a condition based preventive maintenance culture on day-to-day basis by conducting troubleshooting and root cause analyses, finding solutions to reduce reactive maintenance. Manage and provide short- and long-term technical solutions to engineering problems that may arise in relation to maintenance services in order to proactively resolve such problems on a sustainable basis and ensure uninterrupted delivery of services. Health, Safety, Security & Environment:Ensure compliance to all relevant health, safety, security and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environmental attitude. Report and respond to HSSE incidents using the established emergency communication channels and protocols, to minimise the impact of the hazard. Together with HSE department, ensure that safety rules and regulations are fully explained to plant employees / contractor staff and appropriate safety and protective equipment is worn; safety notices are prominently displayed in all work areas and that all accidents and incidents are efficiently investigated and analysed whilst ensuring that measures are implemented to avoid any recurrence. Operations Planning:Cascade of the Plant’s operational strategy to develop production plans and lead the effective monthly and daily scheduling of plant shift operations in line with the approved strategies and business demands to ensure the production targets are met. Operations Management:Lead and effectively manage all aspects of power generation and / or water production within ACWA operational plant to ensure efficient operations, whilst maintaining a critical focus on safety and quality. Work with all related parties to troubleshoot and resolve escalated/critical operational issues to facilitate timely achievement of production objectives whilst ensuring minimal liquidity damages. Review the daily operations reports and submit periodic reports to the management, keeping them informed of all technical problems, if any, as well as on recent changes or modifications on existing work plan or schedule. Lead the Operational management meetings so that the entire team is clear on the production standards required and the operations programs that are underway. Review the long-term equipment and operating performance characteristics and provide technical recommendations to improve the reliability of the equipment and overall efficiency of the operations processes. Ensure all safety protective device tests on critical equipment are carried out successfully on regular basis, to ensure protective continuity testing in Compliance with International Safety Standards. Maintenance and Outage Support:Together with Maintenance department, plan and facilitate the implementation of planned preventative and corrective maintenance programmes, ensuring timely repair of critical equipment so as to minimize downtime and forced outages. Work with the Maintenance team, for the safe execution of the planned outages for the major operating facilities/equipment on site and provide support during the shutdown and re-starting of equipment, as needed, to ensure the EHS, scope, cost, and timeline objectives are met. Plant Chemistry and Laboratory Management:Oversee and monitor the setting of production parameters and adjust production conditions during operation to ensure quality and efficiency. Oversee the laboratory activities and ensure the testing is in accordance with regulatory requirements, procedures, schedules, budgeted costs and quality standards. Health, Safety, Security & Environment:Ensure compliance to all relevant health, safety, security and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environmental attitude. Report and respond to HSSE incidents using the established emergency communication channels and protocols, to minimize the impact of the hazard. Lead the effective inventory management of operations related consumables, chemicals, and equipment and ensure raising of requisitions and purchase orders for the timely replenishment of stock to fulfil plant operational requirements. Integrated Management System Implementation:Implement IMS objectives and programs in the department and provide assistance during the IMS audits to effectively implement corrective actions and update relevant Operation’s policies and procedures, based on the recommendations. Policies, Processes, Systems & Procedures:Develop and ensure the implementation of Operation’s department work instructions, policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of department activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service. Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities of improvement and contribute to Operational change initiatives, programmes and projects considering best practice and standards in the business environment. Regularly report to the Plant General Manager / Country Manager on the operational activities of department, challenges and issues faced, mitigations taken, etc. as required, to keep them informed and updated on the division’s activities. Budget Management:Contribute to the preparation of the operation department’s budget and manage and monitor the financial performance against the budget so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon. Participate actively in the monthly budget variance analysis and discussions to ensure the gaps are reviewed and analysed and appropriate and timely actions are taken to reduce the gaps. Operations Planning:Cascade of the Plant’s operational strategy to develop production plans and lead the effective monthly and daily scheduling of plant shift operations in line with the approved strategies and business demands to ensure the production targets are met. Operations Management:Lead and effectively manage all aspects of power generation and / or water production within ACWA operational plant to ensure efficient operations, whilst maintaining a critical focus on safety and quality. Work with all related parties to troubleshoot and resolve escalated/critical operational issues to facilitate timely achievement of production objectives whilst ensuring minimal liquidity damages. Review the daily operations reports and submit periodic reports to the management, keeping them informed of all technical problems, if any, as well as on recent changes or modifications on existing work plan or schedule. Lead the Operational management meetings so that the entire team is clear on the production standards required and the operations programs that are underway. Review the long-term equipment and operating performance characteristics and provide technical recommendations to improve the reliability of the equipment and overall efficiency of the operations processes. Ensure all safety protective device tests on critical equipment are carried out successfully on regular basis, to ensure protective continuity testing in Compliance with International Safety Standards. Maintenance and Outage Support:Together with Maintenance department, plan and facilitate the implementation of planned preventative and corrective maintenance programmes, ensuring timely repair of critical equipment so as to minimize downtime and forced outages. Work with the Maintenance team, for the safe execution of the planned outages for the major operating facilities/equipment on site and provide support during the shutdown and re-starting of equipment, as needed, to ensure the EHS, scope, cost, and timeline objectives are met. Plant Chemistry and Laboratory Management:Oversee and monitor the setting of production parameters and adjust production conditions during operation to ensure quality and efficiency. Oversee the laboratory activities and ensure the testing is in accordance with regulatory requirements, procedures, schedules, budgeted costs and quality standards. Health, Safety, Security & Environment:Ensure compliance to all relevant health, safety, security and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environmental attitude. Report and respond to HSSE incidents using the established emergency communication channels and protocols, to minimize the impact of the hazard. Together with HSE department, ensure that safety rules and regulations are fully explained to plant employees / contractor staff and appropriate safety and protective equipment are worn; safety notices are prominently displayed in all work areas and that all accidents and incidents are efficiently investigated and analysed whilst ensuring that measures are implemented to avoid any recurrence. Monitor and ensure that ERT teams are readily available and evaluate their performance at regular intervals especially during the drills, to ensure they are complying with the HSSE practices and procedures. Inventory and Services Management:Oversee the performance of all contracts and contractor arrangements that impact plant operations to ensure quality and cost-effective service delivery. Lead the effective inventory management of operations related consumables, chemicals, and equipment and ensure raising of requisitions and purchase orders for the timely replenishment of stock to fulfil plant operational requirements. Integrated Management System Implementation:Implement IMS objectives and programs in the department and provide assistance during the IMS audits to effectively implement corrective actions and update relevant Operation’s policies and procedures, based on the recommendations.
