The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:</p><ul><li><strong>Team Coordination:</strong> Assign daily tasks and patrol routes to security officers, ensuring coverage of all critical areas.</li><li><strong>Performance Monitoring:</strong> Observe team performance, provide feedback, and conduct on-the-job coaching to maintain service standards.</li><li><strong>Access Control Oversight:</strong> Monitor access control points, verify identification procedures, and ensure compliance with protocols.</li><li><strong>Incident Response:</strong> Respond to incidents and emergencies, ensuring proper escalation and documentation.</li><li><strong>Reporting:</strong> Maintain accurate logs of security activities, incidents, and investigations for audit purposes.</li><li><strong>Event Support:</strong> Assist Duty Manager in implementing security plans for events and VIP movements.</li><li><strong>Equipment Checks:</strong> Ensure readiness of emergency equipment and report deficiencies promptly.</li><li><strong>Cross-Department Liaison:</strong> Work with other departments to resolve security-related concerns and maintain smooth operations.</li><li><strong>Training Support:</strong> Assist in training new security officers on SOPs and emergency protocols.</li><li><strong>Safety Culture:</strong> Promote a culture of safety and vigilance among team members through regular briefings and awareness programs.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications :</p><ul><li>Higher secondary education.</li><li>2 4 years in security operations, ideally with team coordination experience</li><li>Demonstrate previous experience in supervising or coordinating a team of Security Officers.</li><li>Possess practical knowledge of access control, security patrols, incident response, emergency procedures, and security</li><li>Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in spoken and written English.</li></ul>
