The Storekeeper manages the end-to-end receipt, storage, inventory control, and issuance of raw inputs (food ingredients, packaging, and processing chemicals) to support manufacturing operations. Qiddiya is seeking an experienced Senior HSE Manager to lead all Health, Safety and Environmental activities across the Racecourse Development Project, comprising a world-class horse racing track, grandstand, associated hospitality facilities, stables, infrastructure and supporting works.<br><br>The successful candidate will provide strategic HSE leadership throughout the design, construction and commissioning phases, ensuring compliance with Qiddiya, PIF and Kingdom regulations, whilst driving a proactive safety culture across all contractors, consultants and project stakeholders.<br><br>This individual must possess a unique blend of client-side governance and assurance experience together with hands-on delivery experience gained with a Tier 1/Main Contractor on large-scale complex construction projects. Experience working on major PIF developments within Saudi Arabia is strongly preferred.<br><br>Key Responsibilities:<br><br>HSE Leadership & Governance<br><br>Lead the development, implementation and continual improvement of the Project HSE Management System Establish project-specific HSE strategies, objectives, KPIs and performance targets Serve as the primary HSE advisor to the Project Director and senior leadership team Ensure compliance with all Qiddiya, PIF, regulatory authority and international best practice requirements Promote a culture of safety leadership, accountability and continuous improvement across the project<br><br>Contractor Management<br><br>Lead HSE prequalification, technical evaluations and reviews of contractors and subcontractors Review and approve Contractor HSE Plans, Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Emergency Response Plans Conduct regular audits, inspections and assurance reviews of contractor performance Drive corrective action and closeout of observations, NCRs and safety violations Monitor contractor competency, staffing levels and HSE resource deployment<br><br>Construction Safety<br><br> Oversee safe delivery of all construction activities relating to: Racecourse and track works Grandstand construction Structural steel erection Temporary works Heavy lifting operations Earthworks and infrastructure Utilities and MEP installations Testing and commissioning activities Ensure effective implementation of permit-to-work systems, work-at-height controls, lifting operations, excavation safety and contractor management processes. <br><br>Assurance & Performance Monitoring<br><br>Develop and maintain project HSE dashboards and performance reporting systems Monitor leading and lagging indicators and identify emerging risks Lead incident investigations and ensure effective root cause analysis and corrective actions Produce executive-level HSE reports for senior stakeholders Conduct trend analysis and communicate lessons learned across the programme<br><br>Stakeholder Management<br><br>Collaborate with Project Management Consultants, Design Consultants, Contractors and Regulatory Authorities Support project leadership in managing HSE-related risks and strategic decisions Represent the project in executive HSE forums, audits and governance reviews Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive exceptional HSE outcomes<br><br>Worker Welfare & Environmental Management<br><br>Champion worker welfare standards across all project sites Ensure effective environmental management systems are implemented Monitor compliance with environmental permits, sustainability objectives and ESG commitments Promote wellbeing initiatives and workforce engagement programmes<br><br>Requirements<br><br>Bachelor degree in Engineering, HSE or related discipline NEBOSH Diploma and professional certifications such as CSP, CMIOSH, ISO 4500 Lead Auditor preferred Experience Minimum 10 years HSE experience on major construction projects Must possess both client-side/PMC experience and Tier 1 contractor experience Strong preference for candidates who have already on PIF giga-project experience or globally recognized construction mega projects

The role supports the Engineering team in ensuring that all mechanical installations and equipment operate safely, reliably, and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of hotel operations and guest experience.<br><br>Duties & Responsibilities<br><br>Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of mechanical equipment and systems. Maintain pumps, motors, valves, compressors, water systems, and other mechanical equipment. Identify mechanical faults and carry out necessary corrective maintenance in a timely manner. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and technical issues from guest areas and hotel departments. Conduct regular inspections of plant rooms, mechanical areas, and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Follow preventive maintenance schedules and complete assigned work orders accurately and on time. Assist with the installation, replacement, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment when required. Monitor equipment performance and report abnormalities, defects, or potential failures to the Engineering Supervisor. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety procedures, hotel standards, and applicable regulations. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and equipment servicing. Assist other Engineering team members with maintenance activities and operational requirements when necessary. Support energy conservation and sustainability initiatives within the Engineering department. Follow proper procedures for handling spare parts, materials, and engineering supplies. Respond to emergency maintenance situations and support the Engineering team in restoring operations safely and efficiently. Perform other duties as assigned by Engineering management.<br><br>Qualifications<br><br>Technical diploma or vocational qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Maintenance, or a related field. Previous experience as a Mechanic Technician or in a similar mechanical maintenance role. Hospitality, resort, or large facility maintenance experience is preferred. Good knowledge of mechanical systems, pumps, motors, valves, and associated equipment. Understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices. Basic knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
