We treat each other with care and respect and make time to give everyone a voice</p><br><br>Job Description<br><p>The Senior Bid Manager will be a dedicated resource for the Turner & Townsend Saudi ArabiaMajor Programmes team and will work closely with various bid leads and other stakeholders to drive delivery of submissions and presentations. The goal for this position is to provide senior level input to the bid process and provide clients with clearly differentiated proposals that demonstrate why they should work with Turner & Townsend.</p><br><p><strong>Responsibilities </strong></p><br><ul><li>Write/edit non-technical and edit technical bespoke content working with the bid teams to ensure timely completion</li><li>Facilitate bid Kick Off, Win Theme and Storyboard sessions with bid team</li><li>Proactively manage the bid and review process while ensuring all contributors understand expectations for content and timelines</li><li>Incorporate local knowledge, evidence/research and adhere to writing style/branding</li><li>Ensure submissions are targeted to their audience, consisting of an evidence base and innovative approaches as advised by experts across the organisation and best practice</li><li>Advise bid lead on relevant added value options to strengthen bid response</li><li>Review and amend draft bid considering feedback from peers and Directors</li><li>Customise pen profiles and CV content to better position our proposed team</li><li>Briefing graphic designers to create visually appealing graphics to communicate complex information and concepts in an impactful way</li><li>Following submission of bid, extract key information from tender to improve best practice collateral </li><li>Support in delivery of best practice training on bid process, management and writing</li><li>Contribute to board reporting on pipeline, conversion, and lessons learnt</li><li>Pipeline management – working with the Head of Middle East Real Estate and Major Programmes to monitor and proactively manage opportunity pipeline and advise on focus areas.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills and behaviours required </strong></p><br><ul><li>Proactive, clear and professional communication with internal and external stakeholders at all levels</li><li>Ability to continuously manage own workload, plan ahead for future submissions and/or presentations, and know when assistance from wider BG team is required</li><li>Ability to contribute to bid/pursuit strategy and influence senior technical and commercial leaders including challenging/questioning thinking or strategy when necessary to add value to the process</li><li>Strong writing and editing ability in English including:</li><li>Critically assessing existing content and editing to be more concise and persuasive, harmonising tone of voice and ensuring consistency of language and terminology</li><li>Writing original non-technical content for Executive Summaries and other sections</li><li>Proof reading skills with a keen eye for accuracy and detail</li><li>Critical thinking skills to consistently develop, manage and deliver high quality bids and content on time</li></ul><br>Qualifications<br><ul><li>15+ years’ experience across bidding and business development in the professional services sector, ideally with PMC services in the built environment, and preferably with some of that experience in the Middle East</li><li>Relevant degree in an Engineering discipline or Business, etc (list not exhaustive)</li><li>Expertise in MS Office suite, skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint (required) and a design-based software such as InDesign (preferred)</li><li>APMP Foundation level certification is advantageous but not essential </li><li>Professional membership of a recognised institution (desired).</li></ul><br>Additional Information<br><p><em>Our inspired people share our vision and mission. <p>Overview The Mechanical SME will serve as the technical authority for all mechanical engineering aspects of the Projects, providing specialist expertise during design review, construction supervision, testing, commissioning, and handover of bridge-related and infrastructure mechanical systems.</p><p>Your role Technical Leadership & Subject Matter Expertise Act as the lead Mechanical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Clients. Provide technical guidance and specialist support to project management, engineering, construction, and commissioning teams. Review and validate mechanical engineering designs, specifications, calculations, and technical submissions. Ensure project mechanical systems are designed and constructed in accordance with project requirements, international standards, and client guidelines. Lead technical reviews and provide recommendations for optimizing system performance, reliability, and maintainability. Design Review & Engineering Coordination Review mechanical design packages for compliance with applicable standards and specifications. Evaluate contractor shop drawings, material submittents, calculations, and technical proposals. Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, ITS, utility, traffic, and architectural disciplines. Resolve design conflicts and multidisciplinary interface issues. Participate in value engineering and design optimization initiatives. Support technical approvals and design change assessments. Construction Support & Technical Assurance Monitor construction activities related to mechanical systems installation. Verify installation quality and compliance with approved designs and specifications. Review contractor method statements and installation procedures. <b>Job Description</b><p><b>Position Overview</b></p><br><p>The Schedule Control & Reporting Expert is responsible for supporting the efficient operation of the project management function across the Contract and external interfaces by providing schedule control, schedule performance analysis, progress monitoring, deviation reporting, forecasting, and management reporting for the O&M phase. The role will monitor each O&M Contractor’s performance against key contractual milestones, develop and implement scheduling dashboards, optimize and automate reporting processes using digital tools and AI-enabled solutions, and prepare monthly reports to support management decision-making and contract oversight.</p><br><p>The position serves as a key interface between the project management team, O&M Contractors, consultants, and client stakeholders, ensuring accurate reporting of schedule performance, schedule integrity, key milestone achievement, risks, deviations, and required In this pivotal role, you will lead the implementation and enforcement of Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards, execution plans, and coordination workflows across our project portfolio. As a collaborative leader with a visionary approach to digital delivery, you will oversee multidisciplinary BIM teams, ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements, and drive innovation in our modeling and coordination processes.
