To plan, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate the nutrition care service including medical nutrition therapy (MNT), wellbeing and health promotion (educational activities), foodservice management, scientific research and preventive care services to provide Life Enhancing Renal Care.</p><p>Key responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Work within a MDT to ensure effective medical nutrition therapy, health promotion, and lifestyle management</li><li>Ensure implementation of a continuous, accurate and effective Nutrition Care Process (NCP) for all patients</li><li>Manage set clinical parameters to accurately measure, monitor and evaluate all aspects of nutritional care in accordance to national and international standards and guidelines in renal care and chronic disease management</li><li>Manage foodservice in your clinic to ensure food safety and quality as part of continuously monitoring and enhancing patient meal experience</li><li>Adhere to Diaverum country and global policies and procedures including quality measures including medical KPIs, Joint Commission International (JCI) as well as all local regulatory requirements governing nutrition care</li></ul></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><ul><li>Certified Clinical Dietitian Specialist by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)</li><li>Bachelor Degree in Clinical Nutrition, Master s degree in Clinical Nutrition is favorable</li><li>Fresh Graduate, 1-2 years clinical dietetics experience in a clinical setting or hospital is favorable</li><li>Experience in clinical specialty favorable (Renal, Diabetes, Hypertension)</li><li>Fluency in Arabic and English is required</li></ul><p></p></section>

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and tasks may be assigned.• Complete initial assessment of new patients’ nutritional and dietetic needs within 7 days of first treatment.• Complete reassessment of each patient at least once every 30 days and more frequently if the patient’s needsdictate.• Recommend therapeutic diets in consideration of cultural preferences and changes in treatment based on thepatient’s nutritional needs in consultation with the patient’s Physician.• Counsel patients and families on prescribed diets and monitor adherence and response to diets.• Assist patients in obtaining dietary supplements as appropriate.• Participate with other multidisciplinary team members in developing patient care plans and developing goals forpatient dietary care management.• Participate with other multidisciplinary team members in developing the long-term care plan for individualpatients.• Lead continuous quality improvement activities related to nutrition and indicators• Communicate results of patient assessment, reassessment, and ongoing monitoring to the physician, teammembers, and others as appropriate to the patient's individual needs.• Provide patient education as appropriate to the patient’s needs.• Participate in patient care conferences as directed by the Director of Clinical Services and the Regional Operations Director.• Maintain current progress notes for all patients in compliance with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) regulations.• Participate in the company's performance improvement efforts.• Comply with organization policies and procedures.• Participate in staff meetings as required.• Attend in-service and continuing education offerings in compliance with company policy and procedure.• Make home visits as company regulations or the Ministry of Health require.• Perform other duties or tasks as assigned.
