Role Summary:<br>We are seeking a highly technical and skilled Electrical Design & Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, manufacturing, assembling, and testing a variety of electrical panels, control panels, and related electrical accessories. Alongside leading the necessary teams and ensuring quality along the entire process.<br>Key Responsibilities:<br>Design electrical power, control, and automation panels according to client requirements and applicable standards. Prepare electrical schematics, single-line diagrams (SLDs), wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using Auto CAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar software. Select appropriate electrical components, including breakers, contactors, relays, VFDs, PLCs, and protection devices. Develop bill of materials (BOMs), technical specifications, and manufacturing documentation. Lead production team to ensure accurate panel assembly and wiring. Supervise manufacturing and assembly activities to maintain quality and compliance standards. Conduct inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical panels. Ensure compliance with IEC, NEC, UL, and other relevant electrical standards. Collaborate with procurement, quality, and project teams to meet project schedules and customer requirements. Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and after-sales activities. Identify opportunities for design optimization, cost reduction, and process improvement. The role ensures seamless coordination, clear communication, and the timely resolution of interface issues that may affect programme delivery. It also involves developing and implementing structured stakeholder engagement plans to maintain alignment, avoid conflicts, and support smooth project execution. <p>Implement processes and procedures of the engineering standards.</p><p>Evaluate the current technical standards available within the government entity and obtain approval for the list of current technical standards, whether to continue working with them or modify them, or develop new technical standards.</p><p>Study and review plans, documents, and bidding documents provided by various design companies for projects of the Saudi Irrigation Authority (SIO), following the applicable standards and codes.</p><p>Participate in preparing technical specifications, quantity schedules, and tender documents for the projects undertaken by the SIO in the field of implementing pumping stations and water treatment pipelines.
