Reposible to develop and desing of all methodologies and SOP's. Design and implement geochemical sampling programs to support mineral exploration and resource evaluation. Ensure continued team development on geochemical methodologies and interpretation. Interpret geochemical data to identify mineralization patterns, geochemical anomalies, and potential ore deposits.</p>
<p>Collaborate with geologists to integrate geochemical data into geological models. Develop geochemical models and predictive tools to optimize mineral exploration targeting and resource estimation. Stay abreast of emerging geochemical technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices to ensure continuous improvement and innovation. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and external partners to convey geochemical findings, project progress, and compliance with regulations.</p>

Company Description Almasar Minerals is an emerging exploration company focused on making the next major greenfield mineral discovery within the Arabian-Nubian Shield. Progressing towards a listing on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), the company holds a portfolio of exploration projects across Saudi Arabia and is actively applying for additional licences targeting gold and base metal opportunities.<br>Almasar's exploration strategy is underpinned by a strong technical approach, combining in-house expertise with an advisory board of world-class academics and industry specialists — including former chief geophysicists and geochemists from major global miners, and the academic who first classified orogenic gold deposits.<br>Role Description The Senior Exploration Geologist is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with regular fieldwork across project areas. The role involves planning and executing exploration programs, overseeing geological mapping, logging, drilling, and core logging activities, and ensuring data quality and consistency. The Senior Exploration Geologist will interpret geological, geochemical, and drilling data to generate and refine exploration targets, contribute to resource evaluation, and support project decision-making. The role includes mentoring junior geologists and field teams, coordinating with external contractors, and preparing technical reports, maps, and presentations for internal stakeholders and investors. The position requires strong attention to safety, adherence to regulatory standards, and alignment with Almasar Minerals’ disciplined exploration framework.<br>Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geology; advanced degree is an advantage.8+ years' exploration experience, although exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered. Strong background in gold and base metal exploration, particularly orogenic and intrusion-related gold systems. Experience working within Precambrian terranes, with Arabian-Nubian Shield experience considered highly advantageous. Proven ability to independently manage exploration programmes and operate in remote field environments. Strong geological mapping and target generation skills. Experience supervising drilling programmes and junior geologists. Proficiency with QGIS and Microsoft Excel. Experience with Micromine and Leapfrog is considered advantageous.
