Job Overview<br><br>Act as a Senior IT Engineer for the Saudi Arabia branch — the technical backbone of local IT delivery — owning local IT infrastructure, operations, security and compliance, and asset management end-to-end as an individual contributor, while serving as a key IT liaison between China HQ and the subsidiary. You will execute local IT strategy, ensure regulatory and information-security compliance, and drive global corporate IT standards adoption locally. Job Summary:To ensure that the plant runs with maximum performance, efficiently and effectively by coordinating all plant operations activities.<br>Roles & Responsibilities:Ensure implementation of effective and efficient policies and procedures relating to all Power and Desalination Plants. Monitor daily performance of all the plants and to ensure that all the parameters are within the specified limits. Recommend/follow-up acid cleaning of Desalination Plant as and when required. Carry out trouble shooting, in co-ordination with Operation staff in power and desalination. Coordinate with Shift Charge Engineer and Chief chemist to improve the efficiency by doing any changes in operational activity with Operations Manager approval. Recommend/follow-up as and when required distillate stage sampling and to interpret the results, if there is doubts of tube leak. Carry out detailed inspection of plant during annual maintenance and follow-up the annual maintenance. Prepare monthly performance summary of plants. Ensure Environmental Aspect-Impact and Hazard Risk Assessment are carried out, controlled and updated. Implement, monitor and report IMS objectives, Targets and programs. Learn more about our extraordinary teams building inspiring projects in our Impact Report.<br><br>Project Overview<br><br>The Ar Rjum Project comprises a green field gold project with three open pit mining operations with associated waste dumps and ore stockpile, a processing plant, tailings management facilities, and supporting infrastructure including water supply, power supply, maintenance facilities, offices, temporary and permanent accommodation village.<br><br>The Project is situated within the Central Arabian Gold Region, approximately 200 km north-east of Taif towards Riyadh and about 26 km South of Al Mouwayh, which is a small town situated on the Jeddah - Riyadh highway.<br><br>Job Summary<br><br>Quality Assurance reports to the Project Quality Manager and verifies implementation of the quality program across one or more functions in engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning. This role ensures compliance with project and ISO 9001 requirements, supports the development of quality management system tools and metrics for monitoring quality performance, coordinates audits and inspections, manages corrective actions, and provides guidance to project teams on quality matters and improvement.<br><br>Major Responsibilities<br><br>Assist the Quality Manager in implementing and communicating the project quality program/plan requirements to the project team. Lead and support the implementation of People-Based Quality (PBQ), Lessons Learned, Closed Loop Corrective Actions, Continuous Improvement initiatives, and Best Practices, including the collection, evaluation, and documentation of lessons learned in the appropriate registers. Prepare quality audit checklists and coordinate, lead, or support internal and external audits and surveillances of project quality programs, including vendor, contractor, and subcontractor assessments. Maintain liaison with client quality representatives and support the Quality Manager during client or regulatory audits. Support the development, maintenance, and execution of the Project Quality Audit & Surveillance Schedule, ensuring timely follow-up and closure of audit findings and corrective actions. Monitor quality activities across engineering, procurement, and construction to ensure compliance with approved quality plans, procedures, and specifications, and review related documents for inclusion of quality requirements. Review and determine applicable quality and regulatory requirements, report new or revised regulations, and support the development and revision of QA procedures and project-specific quality documentation. Coordinate and perform inspections and surveillances at site and vendor locations, maintain accurate inspection records, and issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as required. Assist in root cause analysis and closed-loop corrective action processes to ensure timely resolution and closure of findings. Participate in the prequalification of subcontractors and suppliers by evaluating their quality systems, capabilities, and controls, and reviewing their submittals such as quality manuals, procedures, quality plans, ITPs, resumes for quality personnel, test reports, audit reports, and schedules. Provide training and guidance to project personnel on quality requirements and procedures and conduct project QMS orientation and awareness sessions as applicable. Report quality weekly/monthly progress to the project quality manager<br><br>Education And Experience Requirements<br><br>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably in Electrical Engineering). ISO 9001:2015 Certified Lead Auditor (IRCA approved) – required. Additional certifications in Quality (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) – preferred. Minimum 10–12 years of relevant experience, including minimum 8 years in a supervisory role in quality. Experience in QA/QC activities across engineering, procurement, and construction phases. Previous experience with National Grid (NG) and Saudi Electricity Co (SEC) specifications and projects.<br><br>Required Knowledge And Skills<br><br>Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and ISO standards. Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and quality plans. Strong analytical skills with practical knowledge of how to identify key performance quality matrices, proficiency in root cause analysis and corrective action systems.
