OVERVIEW: Al Qadsiah Club is seeking a detail-oriented Assets Accountant to manage the full lifecycle of fixed assets and intangible assets and right-of-use assets, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support asset optimization across the organization. The role contributes to financial control, compliance, and operational efficiency while collaborating with cross-functional teams. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: u2022 Maintain full responsibility for the end-to-end accounting of fixed assets, including tangible and intangible assets and Right-of-use assets, from acquisition through to disposal. u2022 Record fixed asset acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation accurately within the accounting system. u2022 Create, implement, and monitor controls, procedures, and documentation for the effective management of fixed assets. u2022 Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register and capital work-in-progress (CWIP) accounts to the general ledger on a monthly basis. u2022 Track project costs, close asset accounts upon project completion, and ensure alignment with capital budgets and management approvals. u2022 Conduct periodic physical asset counts, verifications, impairment reviews, and obsolescence assessments. u2022 Recommend asset disposals and provide analysis to support capital investment decisions. u2022 Prepare audit schedules related to fixed assets and leases and support internal and external audit enquiries. u2022 Manage the asset for expenditure process, monitor and report capital expenditure against approved budget items on monthly basis. u2022 Recording the acquisition of player registrations (transfer fees, agent fees, and other direct costs) as intangible fixed assets in accordance with IAS 38 and the accounting policies of the Company. u2022 Manage intangible asset register, player workings and schedules to calculate the impact of required adjustments including monthly amortization of expenses. u2022 Track variable payments for the acquisition of assets and record such variable payments in accordance with the accounting policy of the Company. u2022 Manage lease accounting in line with IFRS 16, including assessment of contracts, recognition of right-of-use assets and lease liabilities, and ongoing reporting. u2022 Prepare monthly lease accounting entries, reconciliations, forecasts, and disclosures. u2022 Collaborate with finance, project, and operational teams to ensure accurate capital and lease reporting. u2022 Identify and implement continuous improvements within capital and lease accounting processes. u2022 Support the Finance Manager and wider finance team with ad hoc analysis and reporting as required. u2022 Provide guidance and on-the-job training to junior team members and support knowledge-sharing initiatives. u2022 Identify opportunities to enhance systems, processes, productivity, and cost efficiency.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: u2022Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or Finance u2022Professional Qualification (SOCPA, ACA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) would be preferred u20223u20136 years of asset accounting experience PERSONAL SPECIFICATION u2013 SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES u2022 Proven experience in capital or fixed asset accounting, ideally within a large or international organization. u2022 Strong understanding of accounting principles, fixed asset and intangible asset accounting, and lease accounting under IAS 16, IAS 38 and IFRS 16. u2022 Experience managing fixed asset, intangible assets and lease registers, depreciation & amortization calculations, maintaining related schedules, reconciliations, and disclosures. u2022 Knowledge of new and emerging accounting standards, compliance and regulatory requirements. u2022 Experience working with ERP systems u2022 Strong analytical skills with the excellent attention to detail. u2022 Proficient in spreadsheet use, data analysis, and financial reporting. u2022 Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. u2022 Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams. u2022 A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement</p>
<p>Primary contact to provide customers with assay, application, operator, system and instrument support and troubleshooting by phone or e-mail using our remote diagnostic tools Responsible for effective telephonic troubleshooting with customers as well as Field Service personnel concerning reagent and instrument problems. Responsible for dispatching calls requiring Field Service visit, scheduling and following up Primary contact for customer requests related to CRLB products, customer agreements etc. Succession of this role is measured by customer satisfaction score (NPS), support key performance indicator, service capacity and phone resolution rates. Troubleshooting Initial telephonic contact with customers to determine analyzer, operator, application or reagent problems Performs telephonic troubleshooting with customer to reach possible resolution of issue. Dispatches FSE to customer if telephonic troubleshooting was unable to resolve customer issue or site repair is the first option of the reported issue / instrument error code. Field Personnel Dispatching Priorities field service calls recognize and resolve resource availability situations with the skillful management of the utilization and logical deployment of FSEs to improve the levels of customer service Collaborates with the FSEs to close all service calls timeously in order to meet Divisional requirements Follows up on critical service calls for feedback on customer satisfaction levels. Medical Events Evaluates all customer calls according to Medical Event reporting process to identify Potential Reportable Events (pREs) and forwards all relevant data, if applicable to Medical Event Group in US On request of Medical Event Group provides additional information for reportability decisions. Reports any death or serious injury to the Medical Event Group in US by phone or emails without any delay. Documentation & Reporting Reports incidents and critical issues directly to Call Centre Manager Each customer contact will be logged in CMS Next Call Management System and evaluated and coded according to the Call Registration process outlined in LU-CAPA-REG leaning unit. On request Product Quality provides additional information required for complaint investigation.
