Role Description This is a contract, on-site Data Scientist role based in Riyadh. The Data Scientist will work closely with cross-functional teams to collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources, and build statistical and machine learning models that support business decisions and digital transformation initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing experiments, performing exploratory data analysis, creating dashboards and visual reports, and communicating insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders. The role also involves collaborating with engineers and product teams to deploy analytical solutions, monitoring model performance, and recommending improvements to data pipelines and decision processes. Qualifications Strong foundation in Data Science and Statistics, with the ability to design experiments and build predictive models. Proficiency in Data Analytics and Data Analysis for extracting insights and supporting data-driven decision-making. Experience with Data Visualization tools and practices for creating clear, actionable dashboards and reports. Hands-on experience with programming languages commonly used in data science (such as Python or R) and SQL. Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, Tensor Flow, PyTorch) is highly beneficial. Knowledge of cloud platforms and data engineering concepts, including data pipelines and ETL processes, is an advantage. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex findings in a clear, concise manner. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline. Ability to work on-site in Riyadh and collaborate effectively in a multicultural, cross-functional environment. Bachelor’s in Data Science or equivalent; Responsible AI/SDAIA training; minimum 3 years, including experience with the relevant domain data.
