<p>Purpose: The solar Pv Site Engineer shall support the execution, installation, testing, commissioning, and technical coordination of Solar PV systems at project sites. The Engineer will ensure that site activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, applicable international standards, Saudi regulations, SEC requirements, and project requirements. Scope: To provide site engineering and execution support for Solar PV systems Responsibilities: Conduct site visits and surveys and collect required technical information. Review approved PV layouts, SLDs, electrical drawings, cable routes, equipment datasheets, and relevant technical documents before execution. Coordinate daily site activities with supervisors, technicians, subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team. Supervise Solar PV installation activities and monitor compliance with approved drawings and project specifications. Monitor installation of PV modules, mounting structures, inverters, cables, electrical panels, monitoring systems, and associated equipment. Perform site inspections and identify installation or workmanship issues requiring corrective action. Report technical issues, site constraints, and deviations to the Project Manager or direct manager. Coordinate with the design team regarding site conditions or required technical modifications. Verify delivered materials against approved material submittals and report any discrepancies. Support preparation and coordination of inspection requests. Participate in testing and commissioning activities for the Solar PV system. Assist with electrical testing, functional testing, inverter commissioning, and system performance verification. Monitor site progress and prepare regular progress updates and site reports. Maintain site documentation, including: Daily/site reports, Installation records, Inspection records, Testing and commissioning records, Progress photographs, Redline drawings, As-built information Support the preparation of as-built drawings, O&M documentation, testing records, and project handover documents. Follow applicable HSE requirements and immediately report unsafe conditions or practices. Coordinate technical matters with suppliers and manufacturers when required. Maintain good communication with the project team and other relevant parties.
