In this role, you will deliver program-level road engineering expertise and technical governance for a mega multi-work package land and infrastructure development program in Riyadh, delivered on behalf of a major government entity. You will be providing program-level technical expertise, engineering assurance, and collaborative oversight for reviewing and monitoring all road and highway designs across the program, ensuring all road networks, street systems, junctions, and pavement designs are fully integrated and compliant with approved design standards, statutory regulations, safety requirements, and operational needs under the direction of the Technical Manager, while supporting the successful delivery of the overall development program. Reports To: Technical Manager Key Responsibilities Review and assess road engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, specifications, traffic studies, and technical submissions to ensure compliance with approved standards, Client’s requirements, and project objectives. Evaluate road engineering solutions for safety, functionality, constructability, maintainability, operational efficiency, resilience, and lifecycle performance. Review road hierarchy, highway alignments, urban street networks, junctions, interchanges, pavement systems, access arrangements, and geometric design. Assess the integration of road infrastructure with transportation systems, drainage networks, utilities, public realm, urban developments, and supporting infrastructure. Evaluate traffic circulation, accessibility, connectivity, mobility requirements, and overall network performance to support efficient and sustainable transportation systems. Support engineering governance by reviewing technical compliance, engineering deviations, design modifications, and Value Engineering proposals. Assess the impact of design changes on road safety, network capacity, constructability, quality, cost, schedule, maintainability, and lifecycle performance. Provide technical recommendations to support informed engineering decisions and effective risk mitigation throughout the program lifecycle. Coordinate with Lead Developers, consultants, contractors, traffic authorities, utility providers, government agencies, and regulatory authorities on road engineering matters, approvals, and technical compliance. Prepare technical assessments, engineering review comments, executive summaries, and recommendations for the Technical Manager, PMCM Management, and the Client. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a leading role in one of the most technically complex and ambitious stadium developments in the world, a 46,979-seat landmark perched 200 metres above the Tuwaiq cliffs, designed to become the world's first fully integrated venue combining a retractable roof, movable pitch, and LED wall, and a designated venue for the 2034 FIFA World Cup. Reporting to the Structural Design Lead, the successful candidate will provide expert guidance to the Management Contractor and specialist steel contractor on all aspects of the design and construction of the structural steelwork. The stadium's location on a cliff edge, its three-sided bowl configuration, and its integration of world-record moving structures create a structural steelwork challenge of extraordinary complexity, spanning scale, logistical constraints, fabrication engineering, and construction methodology. Key Responsibilities Build the Pipeline — From Zero • Own end-to-end pipeline generation through relentless, self-generated outbound activity. • Use the tools and prospect lists provided as a launchpad — then take the pipeline far beyond them. • Research and map high-potential SME merchants, verticals and micro-markets. • Identify and engage business owners, founders and key decision-makers. • Execute high-volume cold calling, multi-channel outreach, field visits and merchant meetings. • Consistently generate qualified opportunities with zero reliance on inbound or marketing-sourced leads. • Keep the funnel healthy — continuously replenish, qualify and prioritise. • Use CRM and sales data to track your KPIs, read your funnel and sharpen conversion. Sell, Close, Activate • Own opportunities end-to-end: prospect > discovery > pitch > close > onboarding > activation. • Run consultative, value-based discovery with SME owners to uncover real business pain. • Pitch and sell BNPL, LTF and our expanding suite of merchant financial solutions. • Deliver compelling product demos and tailored commercial proposals. • Handle objections with confidence and drive deals to signature. • Stay hands-on until the merchant is fully live and transacting. Commercial & Negotiation • Lead commercial conversations with SME merchants and articulate clear value. • Negotiate within approved commercial frameworks to land win-win outcomes. • Secure the right internal approvals and keep deals moving at pace. • Escalate complex commercial matters appropriately — while retaining full ownership of the opportunity. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Partner closely with Risk, Scoring, Onboarding, Product and Operations. • Understand internal requirements and constraints and work with them, not around them. • Proactively chase down blockers and drive outstanding actions to closure. • Act as the bridge between the merchant and internal stakeholders. • Feed merchant insight and market intelligence back into the business.
